My son's experience at the Centerville Mathnasium has been great so far. He comes home with a positive attitude and seems more confident about math. I believe instruction is working, understanding that it's going to take several months for his academic performance and grades to improve. He says that Mathnasium is a comfortable space and that the staff is very friendly, respectful, and helpful. It's conveniently located and is always clean. The online scheduling system is fantastic!
Anecdotally, he said that he was the only person in his Algebra II class that remembered anything about long division (because he had recently reviewed the concept at Mathnasium).

Mathnasium is a great place to learn and they truly care about the students even outside of mathnasium like how they are doing in school that sort of thing.

My oldest has really been struggling with grade 4 math this year and is having a hard time understanding instructions in the classroom and mastering concepts before they’ve moved on to the next module. At Mathnasium, concepts are explained in a way that make sense to him, and then he has time to practice and master those concepts. Both my kids enjoy going to Mathnasium and working with the wonderful team and collecting stars. My oldest is regaining his confidence and love of learning, and my youngest is thriving in school math thanks to the extra support from Mathnasium.

Our son started the school year (2nd grade) not wanting to go to school. It was the first year ever he felt this way and it was bc he was so behind in math. He felt like “the other kids know more.”
Two things that changed for us this school year was a diagnosis of ADHD which started him on medication to help focus, and the implementation of Mathnazium side by side. It was a game changer! Our son started to enjoy math, enjoy the subject that almost kept him from attending school! Mathnazium helped create confidence, understanding and give him the push he needed to get started on the right foot.

Mathnasium helped my child improve their math skills by taking them back to review and relearn topics that are the building blocks of math. The staff at Mathnasium were helpful and encouraging and we love that the math program was designed to help my child excel.
