When the idea of supplemental math tutoring first came up, our daughter (2nd grade) was not on board. We were led to this after she came home with a hard unit assessment. However, with the structured process, positive feedback system (stars, prizes) and methodology of teaching through games and fun, she thoroughly looks forward to every session. Moreover, her teacher let me know she did exceptionally well on a recent test.
Mathnasium has been a great tool in helping our daughter not only improve her math skills but also increase her confidence in them.

I am truly greatful for Mathnasium. My son has autism and ADHD, and the staff is phenomenal at understanding him and helping him understand and adapt on his level. Because of Mathnasium, my son always has an A in Math. They also helped him to work through any test anxiety and focus on tests. As such his NWEA math score went up 18 points in only one semester of their help (which is an amazing leap). My boy loves math, and we plan on sticking with Mathnasium through 12th grade. Our family will forever sing praises of Mathnasium and promote their awesomeness. Additionally, people working there are friendly, respectful, understanding, adaptable, beyond qualified, and truly love what they do. The leader of the gang is Mr. Fears, he and his wife are great people and truly know what they're doing and are doing what they love. Finally, due to all of this, the atmosphere their is full of fun, dedication, confidence, and family. Again, I am so grateful to the Grosse Pointe Mathnasium, and I urge everyone to give them a try. It is beyond worth the price!
Very accommodating to a modified schedule when kids can't make their usual times lot due to other extracurricular activities.
Level of teaching is very effective for the way my kids learn math. So far Mathnasium is working out to be a good extra platform for math tutoring to supplement school math.

It's great working with the team. I would like to see a 9am option on Saturdays. It would be great if the reminder email came in the morning instead of an hour prior to appointment.
We started Mathnasium in February and we have seen tremendous progress and growth with our daughter. It's only been about 5 weeks. Her interest and positivity towards math has really changed since she started at Mathnasium. I feel her tutors and the math center owner, Reed, have both been instrumental in her progress! She walks in the center really confident, eager to learn and excited to see her tutors and other classmates.
The Mathnasium center is very inviting and has a great learning environment for our daughter to thrive. We have also seen a great amount of improvement in her math work at school. We are thankful for the tools and confidence Mathnasium Crescent Springs/Florence has given our daughter. Highly recommend!
This is a great program for those who want to improve their math grades. One of my sons did not get much out of it but we could have been using it wrong. He wanted to improve his math skills in general. He felt like it was a waste of time. My youngest uses Mathnasium whenever he’s not understanding something in his math class. I’ll get a text from him to schedule an appointment. This happens usually around test time. His grades have improved and he feels more confident. Wish I started this program when they were younger. I think if you can afford it and your kid is struggling at all in math then this is a great program to use.
