Few things
Classes are mon thru fri so you can relax on the weekend
Each class is different
There is a good support structure through FB
Nutrition book is good but this is an area I think more clarity and guidance can be given

Most importantly you look good internally and externally

At first there was no love for The Max ... hear me out. I was told to eliminate dairy and carbs like bread and pasta and substitute then with foods I had not tried before, like brown rice pasta and sprouted grain bread like Ezekiel. And then I was told to go workout five times a week!?! I was pretty anxious about these big changes but I have a friend who transformed herself with The Max so I gave it a shot. By week three I was still not a fan. I couldn’t do all the exercises; sometimes felt like puking at the end of class; was starving at 7 pm (or so I thought) and would down bottles of water and sometimes just eat hard-boiled egg whites. As bad as that sounds, I did start to see progress that I didn’t expect: I wasn’t craving sugary foods as much; I slept better and deeper; my skin was developing a new glow and I was feeling calmer than usual when I would usually be quick-tempered. By week seven I was looking forward to sweating with my new friends; I could eyeball protein and know that was enough for the day; I could stop myself from a binge. And finally, by the end, I could do a full push-up, an assisted sit up and get through an entire class without any adverse reactions. And of course I lost 25 pounds and 15 inches overall but that’s not what counts to me, even after 40 years ... FORTY YEARS of dieting. The Max supports growth for us all in ways that other “plans” or “programs” don’t because they know if you live and die by the scale, it isn’t a goal you will achieve and permanently celebrate. Thank you Max Challenge for this beautiful awakening to a new way of life that is clean eating, positive motivation and exercise.

The Max is the best! When you join you go at your pace. Next thing you know with the support of the members and instructors you are doing exercises that you thought were impossible.
The Max has been the only workout that I actually look forward to.

The complete package! Motivation, fitness and nutrition! Also I love that all I have to do is show up, and I know I get a complete workout each week that pushes me, no matter who the instructor is.

I like the workouts. I have had several different instructors. Although some are better then others, all of the instructors give it their all and I really enjoy the push. I can’t just go the gym anymore, I like the classroom feel. And the circuit workouts ( the ones with the stations). I also like the team environment, it pushes me to do more. And, I’m so sore after these classes, I know I have worked my tail off.

I enjoy the atmosphere, meaning the people that are there and the trainers that teach. I am someone who enjoys group workouts. I am also someone who prefers having a trainer there pushing me versus doing individual workouts.
I have been there for 3 years and will continue to stay!

Friendly, caring, knowledgeable trainers that push you only as far as you are comfortable and very quickly you see and feel the results. I am 72 yrs young, and I say young because I feel younger now as a result of the Max program than I did 10 or 15 years ago. Thank you Max!

What I love most about The Max Challenge program. It works! Well, actually, they all work if you show up, but Max is "set up so that you show up!" I'm NOT a "gym person or athlete." My experience is when I started a few months ago, I couldn't get off the floor without using my hands to push up, and even that was shaky, but Mario was there the first day during the orientation and he helped me. The first Monday I started, I was so sore, I couldn't go back Tuesday. But I went the rest of the week. The trainers show you how to modify exercises so you're moving and benefitting, not getting hurt or feeling bad because you can't do it. There's NO feeling bad at the Max. Everyone is so supportive because everyone has been there. I've learned from people sharing, at classes and on FB, that everyone struggles with keeping in shape. Even "athletic" people have to keep up their motivation. When I was new, and still, there's always someone to encourage me. I love encouraging new people. I'm 56, and I can't do everything. However, this month, I went with a hiking group on two seven mile hikes! We're talking hours and even some elevation (well for NJ.) Before Max - not an option. I've lost inches and lbs. and it's slow for me but I'm stronger. I love that it's only 45 min. and they know how to use those 45! I love how they talk to motivate you at the end of some classes. I love how I have a little bicep :) My class starts at 4:15. So technically it's 4:15 to 5:00. But I actually think of 4:00 to 4:15 as part of it, and the hardest part, since that's the time where I could drive by, go home and stress eat on the couch instead. So when they say, "you did the hardest part (showing up) leave the rest to us" it's true.

I love that every day is something different, but consistent on each day(Monday = cardio, Tues = arm day, etc.). Yet one never knows what you’re walking into. Arm day can be different from week to week, and you just never know what you’ll be doing! The class times are conducive to anyone’s schedule (no excuses!). The trainers always motivate.

There are many things I love about the Max. I love the challenging workouts. They are different from week to week which keeps me from getting bored. However, it is the people and the supportive environment that is truly cultivated and nurtured by the trainers that really keeps me coming back. The Max has been great for me and has helped me to be a happier, healthier, better me!
