Our experience at Santikos Entertainment Casa Blanca Augest, 3rd 2019
It was the first time in a few months that me and my wife went out for "Date Night" without the kiddos around and we decided to watch the new fast and furious movie together. As we arrived first we were cut off by a fellow driver who almost rammed us to steal the parking spot we were waiting on patiently for. We decided it was a Saturday evening and it happens. We proceeded to another spot twords the end of the lot. No big deal. Walking up on the side of the road another car came within no more then 6 inches from hitting me. (I'm 6"3' and very hard not to see). Again some people are not very observant and we moved on on our date. As we made it closer to the door we noticed what looks like huge brown stains all over the floor and how dirty the concrete made the rest of the building look. I started thinking maybe this was not the movie theater for us. I turned to my wife and asked to go to a different movie theater for our date. She agreed and before we left I wanted to inform someone of our experience so we walked into the lobby and was amazed by what we saw. But still based on the issues outside we were going to take our business elsewhere. I walked up to the closest employee and asked who can we speak to to inform them of the experience we had outside. The gentleman pointed to what a man we came to find out was "Chris Arriola" the customer experience manager of the theater. We began to talk to Chris about what had happened outside and approaching the building and how important it is that not only safety is maintained but outside appearance is. I must say that Chris sat there and listened attentively to every word I had to say. As I went on explaining that me and the wife use to go on date nights every week and were going to start doing this again now that summer was almost over but not at that theater he put out his hand to shake mine and said. "Mr. Holt I want to be the first to say how sorry I am that you had any troubles arriving and as for all the brown stains and the look of the concrete outside that he would make it one of his top priorities to help resolve the issue. He then asked if there was anything he could do to get us to change our mind on going to a different theater. I said "no" and we started to walk away back outside. As we almost got to the door Chris Arriola said Mr. Holt let me say one more time how sorry he was for our experience. And how he understood how important date night was to us. We talked a little more and then the conversation went into how his wife just recently got in a car accident close by and how a family member had just passed away that was very close to him. It made me think a little more about how this guy made it easy to relate to us and how effortlessly it was for Chris to get to "our" level and not just treat us as just customers and maintain professionalism. Being a business owner myself I thought how lucky Santikos was to have an employee as dedicated as he was to our safety, happiness, and his job. As we finished talking he shook my hand again and said that if there was ever anything he could do for us to let him know. I looked at my wife and said you know what if they can keep such a deticated employee like him then maybe we should give it another shot. She totaly agreed. We started walking back toward Chris and this time I reached out for his hand and told him "Thank you for valuing us and our concerns" as we walked to get our own tickets, Chris took the time to personally walk us to our seats in auditorium 4. What started off as a LOSS of a customer for life became a customer for life all because of the professionalism and kindness of Chris Arriola

I always love going to the Casablanca theatre. It’s my first choice every time!
It’s easy to access, the self service kiosks are fun, the only complaint is the food service. Sometimes my order is wrong and jalapeños should be more for the amount I pay.
Workers are great. I like the perks we get for being a member.

I have gone to Regal, Evo, & Cinemark and I will always prefer Santikos. I love the reclining seats & being able to purchase my seats ahead of time. I always ask for fresh popcorn & employees never hesitate to oblige. When family comes to visit we always recommend Santikos!!
It's a nice relaxing atmosphere each time we are up for a movie. We try to go to the 10PM or later showings, this way most of the youngsters are either headed out or bowling. Just wonder why you don't have the free B.D. rewards. Looked forward to them every year.

I never have a problem with this theater but basically I was very upset when I went this past Wednesday to see the new movie at 5:30. All refreshments including drinks were shut down. I was told that they would not open until the evening. What kind of mess is this when I go to the movies I want to have access to a drink or some popcorn especially since we’re not allowed to bring in outside food, it ruins the moment, it ruined my date. I didn’t appreciate it at all and I would like a response as to what was going on to the point where I couldn’t buy any type of refreshment to have during this movie. This was especially crazy because I picked the reclining seats where you get the menu to order food and I was an allowed to order if this is the case they need to post a sign and we need to be able to go and pick up food to bring in what was going on I would like a manager to contact me immediately. As most people probably feel if this is something thats going to constantly keep happening then I will change my movie venue to somewhere else.
Loved the bowling specials during the summer. Spent many hot days inside the bowling alley with the grandkids.
