The Y staff is thoughtful and consistently pleasant. The facilities are very clean and bright. The recent new flooring and furniture in gathering area add to the appearance. The exercise class instructors have been cheerful, energetic yet always say to listen to your body and go at your own pace.
They have worked very hard to make the Y a safe gym during the incremental opening during the pandemic. They have used professional signage throughout to be clear about current rules and the messages are phrased in a warm and encouraging tone. The have used bright colors in marking the floors to indicate social distancing when walking the track. There are multiple stations of cleaning materials needed to use on exercise machine/ equipment before and after use.
I have been very happy to be a member of the West Chester Y.

Currently we are using the outdoor pool at West Chester. Thank you for opening and doing a great job managing it this summer despite the current pandemic. We are grateful to be there!

I realize everyone is just figuring this new world out. I do wish you would increase the exercise class frequency. It is likely your opportunity to bring back members. Until then, it's likely to be a ghost town.

I always enjoy my visit at WC YMCA. The facilities and programs are great. The staff members are generally professional and friendly. Some staff members are not so much, especially the younger staff members at the pool and gym areas. They need to be trained for good customer service...smile more !

The outdoor pool is great. Facilities are clean & staff is friendly.

My son goes to camp at the West chester Y and with the "new normal" it was hard in the beginning not knowing where he was going and meeting the teachers and other kids in the class as you normally would. But after 1 week, my son was jumping out of the car and couldnt wait to leave for camp! That is all that I need to know that they are providing a great atmosphere for my 3 year old!!

I love Zumba class ,I wish more instructors and classes and my son love the summer camp , thank you for trying to keeps all memberships safe!

I like the pool and the Master's swim program.

We have really enjoyed being able to use the outdoor pool this summer! The lifeguards are amazing and very attentive and the pool is so clean and just beautiful!

Love the staff and instructors. They're all working really hard to keep the place safe and give a sense of normalcy!

All the machines and the facility are in good condition. Other gyms I've belonged to had machines where some of the features didn't work.

I like that exercise programs continued during the red phase and were posted on the YouTube channel.

Limiting outdoor pool memberships has allowed Members to feel safe and comfortable while enjoying the pool this year amid COVID concerns.
