Everything. The Kennett Y is the best expression of an incredibly well organized, clean and friendly environment for kids, youth and adults (including the very adults). Very happy to be a member since 2003 when we moved to the area. We constantly recommend it.

There is a wide variety of exercise options including rowing, elliptical, steps, free weights, machines, classes, swimming, sports and more. The staff is friendly, available, and helpful. The facility is always open and clean.
Swim team, spin classes, the gym, the people, friendly atmosphere.
I constantly tell people about our YMCA and its classes, particularly the Arthritic Aquatic class in the warm pool taught by Jane Martin. We are soooo fortunate to have an indoor warm pool and combined with the exercises we do, it has eliminated my arthritic pain.
Access to the facilities and services
It's a pool to swim in. The staff is friendly. I wish Kennett had a lap pool - tough to find lap time around the other programs. I don't do anything at the Y except swim, for now.

Great range of equipment and very good clean facilities. Like ability to use different locations. This was my first time using the pool at Kennett and it worked very well.

I really appreciate the discount that I received as a teacher in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District. I also like the fact that I can use any of the Y's in this area.
We've been very happy with the before and after school program at Greenwood and every single youth program that my girls have participated in- drama, musical theater, pottery, drawing, lego, and tennis.
Open communication from the enrollment stage up until completing them. Approach of the people involved in YMCA.
We are quite pleased with our new membership, largely because it offers such a diverse menu of activities. There are classes like Zumba Gold which I really enjoy and my husband likes the workout machines rather than a formal class. The people, staff and members are all very welcoming and the facility is bright well-maintained, kudos to all involved.
Everyone is friendly and helpful, facility is clean, it has a number of programs for all ages and you do not feel as if you are just a number.
