My daughter is a junior at Fort Dorchester High and is enrolled in the early college program with DD2 schools. She is taking college algebra through Trident Technical College. She got a 71 on her first test. Knowing that she can be kicked out of the program if she fails this class and knowing that due to covid-19 this class is being taught virtually, we decided to enroll her in Mathnasium. She has received an A on her last 2 tests and we are waiting for her mid-term grade to post. Mathnasium has definitely helped her.

My granddaughter was very pleased with her teachers at Mathnasium and actually brought her Algebra 2 grade up to a solid B. She will continue there this summer to prepare for Geometry and SAT’s. She loved going, and did well with your teaching method.

The Tutors James had in the office were very good. Miss Shannon is awesome. My son has had 3 Strokes and Requires more one on one and 2 to 3 sessions to complete one homework assignment. However; with Miss Shannon he was able to accomplish more in a shorter period of time and Retain the Methods to the problem solving due to Miss Shannons's Teaching approach, skills, personality, and patience.
We will be Returning in the Fall and probably for the next 4 years until my Son Graduates from High School.

I cannot express how much I recommend Mathnasium. I’m actually excited to write a review.

Our son was always pretty good in math. But some teachers are just better than others. And at a certain point, our son didn’t feel that understood what was supposed to have been taught. We didn’t want to send him to college with holes in math knowledge.
So we signed up.

He took the assessment at Mathnasium and then the tutors worked with him where he needed the help. Our son attended sessions several times each week.
The tutors were very good at bridging the gaps and at explaining why. He felt that several things finally made sense.
On top of that, they are just very nice people at Mathnasium!
We were members during the time the Pandemic started. They were quick to put together online options. I truly appreciate that.

I encourage anyone who is considering this to go ahead. But don’t forget that ultimately the student has to do the work. If your child won’t put in the effort, it won’t matter who tutors them.
