When my daughter started going to mathnasium she didn’t enjoy/like math. After we enrolled her she gained confidence and she now loves math. They are all excellent math teachers and they are also very flexible fitting the kids schedule.
We were so nervous in trying to find the right environment for our daughter, Jenna. Math has always been a struggle for her, ever since Elementary school. It was getting to the point that she would get anxiety just thinking about having to do math homework.
Mathnasium gave us an honest assessment as to where she was, and how we were going to move her forward. Michael and Cathy have been there to talk to us about how to navigate the choppy waters of the highschool math program, and Jenna has really flourished. She still has a lot of work to do, but she definitely has become more math-literate and she gets less anxiety when it comes to math.
We are so grateful to have found this program, and my only regret was not being able to find it earlier!
Helped my child gain confidence in Math.
My son (grade 11) and daughter (grade 10) have been going to mathnasium for 3 yrs. I am very happy with the results. I cannot say enough good things about the teaching. The instructors (especially Michael) are informed, positive and encouraging. A few weeks ago, my daughter had a difficult math problem from school, which was not solved in the 1 hour time slot. Michael actually called our house later that evening, to explain the math to solve this problem! I highly recommend westsprings mathnasium.
Both my kids enjoy Mathnasium. My youngest daughters repeatedly says she wishes she could go to school at Mathnasium.
Our son hated math! It transferred into hating school as he started to have anxiety about going to school all because he was having trouble in math. That has all now changed!! Math is his favorite subject and he again loves school. His confidence has grown exponentially and he is a whole new boy! His math scores have improved 30% in 3 weeks!! He loves Mathnasium and never fights going. This is an amazing program I would recommend it to anyone!

Very pleased. Wish there were hours available Friday, Saturday to be able to fit a third time into our week.
Although hesitant at the start, our daughter runs out the door now to go Mathnasium. She is confident about math and now thinks she is good at it versus the belief that she wasn’t.
Thank you Michael and Cathy and staff! My daughter now loves learning math! She has gone from being a very frustrated kid when doing homework to one who is able to work independently and ask questions when needed. She says that she likes math now in school and Mathnasium has greatly improved her confidence. I can’t wait to see the change in the months to come!

Mathnasium has been a life saver as I was deeply concerned about the work being done at school and the ensuing frustration from not having a solid foundation of the basics.
