Customer Testimonials
The staff and students took my daughter in and immediately made her feel like part of the family. The School's enthusiasm for music and learning shines. It is apparent that they love what they do. Thank you all for that you do!!
This is the first program of any type Bodhi has wanted to put forth a real effort. We tried sports, drama, scouting and just about everything you can think of but he never wanted to go to rehearsal or practice, as the case may be. The this program is designed is perfect for him. The group rehearsals are more like jam sessions so he doesn't feel like he is forced to practice. That said, he wants to practice so he can catch up to some of his band mates, who have been playing longer. I can't say what a difference the School of Rock is making in his life as a whole.
I love that my child always wants to go. He has private lessons and plays with a group.everyone is so laid back and he is learning how to play drums with fun songs. I would recommend to anyone.
I like the format first of all. I appreciate the fact the young kids are exposed to classis rock music and are able to play it after few classes.
Also thecenvironent is fun and tekaxed. All the teachers are really good and passionate. Thanks!
Professional staff, fantastic music program and great environment for kids to hang out. We love School of Rock Cypress!
Wonderful instructors that work so well with the kids
You accept kids less than 5 years which other places don't. Fun atmosphere for kids
Our School of Rock is fantastic! They go above & beyond to help the students learn music and find their groove. My daughter loves practicing her guitar everyday and she's growing in skills very well under the School of Rock instructors.
I like they have private lesson and band class. Everyone is Friendly!!!! My child loves it. I also like that Josh makes sure I am out front before my child walks out. It is a great place!
The breadth of education the kids get at School of Rock is outstanding. From technique to theory to simple appreciation of a wide range of genres, the program puts an emphasis on turning out well-rounded musicians all while making sure the kids have a blast along the way.
Customized for all age groups, opportunities to perform as a group almost immediately.
We've enjoyed the integration of private lesson with band practice. My child is good at practicing everyday on her own and I love listening to that. I would like to know further ahead date of concert each season for planning purposes. Location (doesn't matter), but knowing date to block is helpful. Thank you all for working each day to help develop good character is my child.
The teaching program.
Their programs are awesome! I love that they are not only providing lessons also putting the skills they learned in the classes into performances in the band. The instructors, from Doxy to Dakota to Noel to Josh, are all very knowledgeable, professional and fun. My son loves taking lessons at School of Rock. The place is very friendly and welcoming. You are sure to be greeted by Josh at the front desk every time you walk in. They are flexible too. If things come up that you can’t make to your lesson, rescheduling is just a phone call away. We are very happy with our experience there :).
It’s really fun to watch the kids rock out to the songs I grew up with.
Everyone is very friendly. The instructors and directors are very kid friendly. They all create a very kid friendly environment to encourage kids to love and explore music.
its very family friendly im not scared to leave my kid there and also gives hime something to do besides play video games
The teachers are attentive, consistent, knowledgeable and personable. The administrative staff is excellent at communicating what is going on, keeping me well informed.
These things are all important to us as both of us parents work.
I really enjoy the rehearsals the kids get with their band mates and a set day for one on one practice with their teacher. They get a pretty spot on feel for what it's like to be apart of a band. It's fun for them and it's fun for me as a parent to see his progress on stage.
My daughter had taken to music quickly and had learned a lot in a short time.
For the Rookies level, its very good at introducing different instruments to young kids.
at the price for Rookies, it is worth it.
My concerns are when the kids move to the next level. the price nearly triples and it might become untenable especially if we have multiple kids taking lessons.
I like that they get the full experience of what it would feel like to be in a band and up on stage performing. I also like that they get a one on one lesson along with their band practices.
That is like going to a real school to learn how to play, and the mixture of private lessons and group lessons giving the student (s) the needed feedback on progressing forward in their ability.
Knowledgeable instructors. Good fun.
The instructors are all wonderful with the kids! It's a great environment for kids to come and feel welcome no matter what their skill level may be.
We like that our child get to have both private lessons and a mixed band practice.
It's a fun, positive environment for kids to learn. The staff and instructors treat students with respect and don't condescend or 'dumb-down' anything, which seems to build an enthusiastic, creative, collaborative environment.
Instructors are knowledgeable and fun! Everyone is very friendly. Reschedule lesson is easy if things come up.
Great programs & performance venues
The motivation involved during the program. It's not only the lessons (that are very important), it's the seasonal shows and band practices that make it a whole motivational package. Kids feel encouraged to practice and to be better each and every week because they have to perform and demonstrate what they have learned. "Show me what you got" ;) My 13 years old daughter loves it and I love it too.
