The staff is very friendly and helpful, the pool is great, the machines tip top except a few TVs seem to be not working on the treads. I enjoy being a part of this community.

Love the yoga classes with Jean and Jill.

Nice equipment.

Nice employees at front desk.

Recommend putting up signage reminding everyone to wipe down equipment after use.

The Cleaver Y is very homey and welcoming. The downtown KC Y, not so much, though the staff are very nice. It's just that it's so empty every time I go.

What does the Y do really well?

I come mostly for the classes, so kid zone is a life saver. Also my kids love Kids Night Out. The staff is so friendly. They also balance being really on top of stuff with being super chill at the same time. The location is great, too. Our house is less than a mile from the Y and the kids' school is 9 blocks south. I love running into friends from school and the neighborhood. Soon we'll take advantage of kid's sports and swim lessons.

I have had a really great experience with the group fitness classes. I attend Turbo Kick twice a week and have come to really look forward to class. Denise and Amy are great instructors and always make it so much fun.

I attend some of the yoga classes. Both Tracy C and Jean are excellent at safety and pacing that includes all levels of ability.
