What does the Y do really well?

I enjoy the classes. The equipment is being well cared for and the community is being well served by our YMCA. There are 3 generations of my family that utilize the Cleaver YMCA. I don't know what we would be doing if it wasn't available to us.

What does the Y do really well?

The Baseball program is really excellent. The coaches are patient but demanding. They know how to handle children and bring out the best in them. They are teachng good sportsmanship, most importantly. The equipment supplied and communication have been very good.

I am not crazy about the swim lessons. Both of my grandchildren were frightened by their two different teachers and refused to continue. The lessons were taken 7 years apart and the same thing happened to both of them. As a former licensed lifeguard and competitive swimmer, I was surprised that this happened to both children. Just a note to let you know.

I really like our boys' baseball coach, the other kids on the team, and the attitude with which the games are played. I'm really glad we signed up!

The instructors for silver slippers and water classes are very helpful and nice.
