I like that there is often a YMCA employee walking around the weight section of the gym. It can feel intimidating with all the males in their, so it’s nice just to have someone walking around to ensure safety.

Variety of classes offered
The people at the front desk are personable and professional. The staff is always busy making sure the areas are clean and not cluttered. The lifeguards do a great job and support the needs of the swim patrons.

A variety of exercise classes geared to a variety of age brackets. I miss step aerobics, however.
I think that the Parkville YMCA is very personalized in that the front desk remembers your name and what you like to do at the Y. I like the options that you have at the Y including different movements whether its riding a bike or rowing or lifting weights or even yoga. Some people seem to really like the swimming pool and the steam room while others have strict regiments they do every day. I guess the point for me is that everyone is friendly and cooperative. You get a hello when you check in and a good seeing you when you leave. I try to go 5/6 days a week and when I'm traveling I look for a local YMCA to workout in the particular city. Last week was Dallas and they too had a great staff and lots of different equipment to offer. I have been a member for about 6/7 or seven years and really look forward to starting my day with the YMCA! Name removed

I especially enjoy the water classes with Jackie and the water temperature is perfect. Being a senior, I like how the Y caters to older folks and offers lots of classes that are doable. Parking can be a bit crowded at times, but other than that, no complaints.
I like that they have Pickleball almost every day. I play a few times a week.

The community center in Parkville offers many classes and the facility is clean. The only drawback is the increase in price for members not enrolled in Silver Sneakers.
The pool is great for walking & relaxing. The classes have great instructors .Looking forward to trying some of the other classes.

There is so much to like about the Y: the class I attend, the friendly, welcoming staff, the professional care I receive from my instructor and others, the numerous friends I have met as a result of being there, and certainly the convenience of the facility to my home. The Y is the best thing to happen in Southern Platte County! Thanks to all.
