What does the Y do really well?

I don’t know about other YMCAs I can only speak for the one at Platte City Missouri but they are highly capable of getting your mind body, and spirit in a very good place. The staff is very knowledgeable & very courteous , They are ready to meet your every need. There is a great pool, and every machine you would need to get yourself right, it’s all up to you.

It is a lot better than most private health clubs in terms of equipment and water sport opportunities. In addition the personnel are always very cheerful and helpful. Finally it provides an opportunity to socialize with others in the community.

Overall the Y is running real well. Would like to see motion activated towel dispensers in the bathroom for sanitary health reasons though.

The classes are outstanding and the instructors are amazing. The Yis also a great place to get together and visit with friends. Socializing is as important as exercising,keeps your mind active. I enjoy it all.

I like the comfortable atmosphere, the diverse work outs, and the options for the pools are wonderful
