I appreciate how clean and accessible the Y is and how friendly and helpful the staff is.
Provides a wonderful workout opportunity for seniors and a place to meet and visit, have coffee, tea, and carry out some free routine medical checks as well as attend informational senior seminars. If there is a day you can't go there's no one you have to notify or pay for your absence. Much better than exercising alone at home!!

As a parent the Y is such a savior and the only way I could ever possibly afford to work out in a gym while having my children cared for. The childcare staff at the NKC location are outstanding and always remember my daughters names when we come in.

Provide a fun safe place for kids so I am get a break as a parent. I do wish they didn't ever have TV in the kids zone and that they used the outdoor space more often, but other than that I love the kids zone.
The walking track at North Kansas City YMCA is the best. I love the simplicity and quiet while I walk. I wouldn't be able to exercise without the daycare so that is great also. My kids enjoy the pool and my husband loves the hot tub. Being able to play table tennis and climb the rock wall is a huge plus for my children.

Swimming lessons were good. The staff were very good at connecting me with a good instructor.
AMAZING customer service and I feel like I'm going to a high class gym, extremely well priced. VERY CLEAN facilities that I really appreciate! I feel like they do a great job of making sure to keep equipment clean--well done!
I enjoy going to YMCA near me. It has many things I enjoy and I like the recent improvements. The workout floor has been amazing along with the pool.
My only issues have been that Kid Zone closes in the middle of the day which tends to be when I would like to use it. A kid zone staff member is very rude if I pick my child up between 12:50-12:55 which makes no sense since they close at 1. I have avoided dropping my kids off of she is there and others have mentioned the same. I wish there was homeschool classes during the day or more children's classes.
