The Atchison YMCA is a great community organization! The friendly staff members are extremely knowledgeable and ensure that patrons feel cared for, respected, and supported. The lifeguards are always ready and willing to assist with whatever is needed. Loren and his staff have built an incredible community of individuals who love life and live each day with intention and vitality!
The people, first and foremost. Second, I love water aerobics. Don’t take advantage of other activities.

We love having our family pass, there are fun activities for my child like soccer, swimming, gymnastics. Plus there is a daycare room so I can workout while my child interacts and plays with other kids.

The aerobics class for Active Older Adults is exactly what I need. I feel so much better by 11:30 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The workout is good for my strength, balance, and mental acuity. With a deteriorating knee, I am happy that the exercises strengthen all the support muscles and tendons for that knee.

Fitness class times don’t work for my schedule
lots of options and clean facilities but would love a bit less chlorine in the pool

It is close by and convenient, decent amount of cardio, but needs a universal pull down and decline bench.
Close to home
Staff is polite and friendly. Swim instructors and friendly and patient with the kids.
