The Bonner Springs location does an excellent job of making me feel welcome with an overall family friendly environment. I regularly visit this location as well as others around the Metro. The Bonner staff is the only one that never fails to remember my name or my children's.

I like the Bonner Y because the equipment is in great condition, and there are almost always enough machines for everyone who is working out at the time. What I LOVE are the trainers/instructors. They are all wonderful, and it is possible to find the right fit for you, whether you want an instructor who is intense, or one who is a little more laid back. I really enjoy the classes that I take there, and I like the fitness challenges that they have as well. I like the instructors so much that I often feel guilty if I miss a class, so it motivates to never miss a class!
It is just such a friendly environment where I don't feel judged, and accommodations are made for those that need it. Classes can be high intensity but have low options. I love when the workers know my name and ask me how I am or compliment my progress. I have met many new people and enjoy seeing familiar faces each time I go.
