I am pleased with my children’s progress and the center director is very hands-on. It is a little expensive but WORTH IT. Overall I am quite happy.
My biggest complaint is to please stop the mandatory wearing of masks indoors. It is time, now that Virginia’s restrictions everywhere have been lifted. Mask-wearing should be optional for teachers and students, please.

The team at Mathnasium under Rida Alami’s direction is excellent. They are serious about helping your child learn and making it fun in the process. My child needed reinforcement due to challenges brought on by the pandemic and is more motivated to learn in person at Mathnasium. The scheduling system is well organized and ensures time slot availability if you plan in advance.
We are very happy with Mathnasium so far .. our daughter is enjoying learning Math . The instructors are great and the online scheduling works very well as well!

Our daughter enjoys going to the Mathnasium at Falls Church. The director Rida is very helpful and has the students best interests in mind. Parking is easy which is also a big plus.

Rida is fantastic, always listening and trying to find adapted solutions. She is opened to suggestions which shows good leadership. Tutors are very serious about what they are doing, too. My son was reluctant to start with, but he sees the benefits now.

My daughter went from an F to a C in algebra in just one month. That speaks for itself. I wish I had know about Mathasium years ago and started then.
A 50 point increase in SOL score with a passing grade. The added help and the great staff made it happen.
We love the low student-tutor ratio and the personalized learning plans. We also really like the stars card system with rewards. It provides a great incentive to our child.
My 6th grade son is very motivated to go and within a month his grades began improving in his advanced academic math. He feels he has a personalized experience and loves the reward system.
My daughter has benefited tremendously from the Algebra 1 and geometry support class. It is only one month since she started but had seen improvements in her grades and started to be confident on her works. I highly recommend them for the great job they are doing and their managers highly professional too.
My daughter, Amanda likes to come to the center every single days. She said all the tutors are very friendly and easy to follow the instructions. She decides to continue the course until the end of year!

We had two goals when we started Mathnasium: 1) get my daughter (age 7) to enjoy math and 2) have her introduced to second grade math. Success with both. She now asks to play math games all the time and routinely says how much she likes math. She is working her way through second grade math now. It's been a very positive experience for us.
So far so good! My kids don't complain about going...realize the benefits!

After he failed the first 3 quarters of Alegbra 2, we enrolled our son in Mathnasium, but really thought it was too late for him to catch up for this year. When I asked his counselor about changing his schedule next year to repeat it, the counselor replied, "He will pass Alg. 2 for the year and enter Pre Calc. next year. His teacher is impressed by his SOL scores!" Looks like we'll be back at Mathnasium in the fall for sure!
