My daughter enjoys working with the instructors. She feels that she receives individual attention for her particular math problems. In addition, she finds that the instructors present the material in a different way and resolved her confusion with some formulas.
The team at Mathnasium under Rida Alami’s direction is excellent. They are serious about helping your child learn and making it fun in the process. My child needed reinforcement due to challenges brought on by the pandemic and is more motivated to learn in person at Mathnasium. The scheduling system is well organized and ensures time slot availability if you plan in advance.
We have been very pleased with Mathnasium throughout our experience (just over a year), which included their services before and during the pandemic-related shutdowns. Mathnasium's at home program has been very reliable and we appreciate the personalized attention our daughter receives. We also appreciate that they have re-opened with masks and social distancing in place, and these in-person services have provided a life-line for our very social little girl. We can't thank mathnasium enough for all they do (including the math-focused education!). Have we referred friends? Yes we have; and will again.

Our eight year old has had regular sessions with Mathnasium Falls Church instructors for two years with great results. He always tests in the 95th percentile or above at school and is advancing through fourth grade math as he enters third grade. The owner/manager at Mathnasium Falls Church is highly attentive to our student and most surely to all students. The instructors there are very adept at ensuring progress with students. Mathnasium has adapted well to remote learning and our current daily weekday sessions are all done from the comfort of our home where it is easy for us as parents to observe the session as we work and see the effort the instructors put in. A great value!

The staff at Mathnasium are vey helpful and easy for my daughter to understand. The help from these instructors, who are both friendly and smart, are able to break down the processes and find a way that makes it easier to understand. My daughter loves going to Mathnasium to help with her homework and feels more confident in her ability to complete her math assignments.
I recommend this for every student of all ages private or public schools. Most teaches don’t know how to teach math so they give the children calculators thus preventing them from ever learning to compute. Montessori children are never required to know anything, so always just introduced to it and left in the practicing stage and they rarely reach mastery.
Staff are nice and have good experience! My daughter understands and resolves the problems when she comes to the center!

I highly recommend Mathasium. It allowed my daughter to go from an F to a C in less than 3 months for algebra 1. I wish I had found Mathasium earlier in order fill in the gaps that the public school system doesn’t care to help with.

Mathasium helped my child immensely. She went from failing Algebra 1to passing SOL’s in the matter of 3 months. I am going to continue Mathasium for the remainder of her HS years.
Rida is fantastic, always listening and trying to find adapted solutions. She is opened to suggestions which shows good leadership. Tutors are very serious about what they are doing, too. My son was reluctant to start with, but he sees the benefits now.

My girls went twice a week. Great accountability with assessments every 6 weeks. Flexible, kind instructors, attentive owner, the kids love the prizes. The kids are 100% more confident in their skills. I would definitely recommend it.

We've had our rising second grader enrolled for almost a year now taking sessions about three times per week with excellent results, including a recent assessment that indicated he's working at a third grade level. We have appreciated the attentiveness of the instructors, the regular informal feedback and the customization of the material to help our child improve on areas of weakness. Great job!
This is a great program taught by people who know math. The children learn how to work through their math and become independent math thinkers. My only wish was that I had started my daughters sooner than middle school.
