My Granddaughter is doing so much better now that she is in this program. When she was first tested she was at 34% and now just last week she is at74%. She is feeling better about herself because she is getting the math now and will rise her hand in class.
We actually tell people all the time about Mathnasium, and how it has changed our lives in regards to our daughter's math learning experience. Nicholas was at the 3rd/4th grade level at the beginning of Summer. By the time school started he was ready for 7th grade math. Three days a week for one hour a day saved his repeating 6th grade.
My son loves the one-on-one interaction. It gives the feeling of having a private tutor. Kristen and all of the staff are patient and have great senses of humor. It really makes the learning experience fun. Kristen allows my son to makeup sessions, even when the error is ours. I'm glad that we chose Mathnasium vs. competitors. Thank you.
My eleven-year-old son has had such a positive experience with Mathnasium. He has struggled mightily with math in school; he has responded so well to the kind instructors, the clear instructions, and the easy and privacy of working at home. As a parent, I really value the clear communication with the teachers as well as their flexibility in accommodating the busy schedules of today's kids. Ultimately, I couldn't recommend Mathnasium more highly!

The entire experience feels like private tutoring. Kids totally look forward to it and they enjoy the relaxed, but at the same time, structured lesson. We like it.
Math has been a really discouraging area in my life with my daughter. I have felt like such a failure trying to teach my daughter math and knew I needed to get this taken care of now before it progressed any further. Our granddaughter was going in the 4th grade and was having trouble in math. So last year she started with Mathnasium and was tested at first grade level. Now she is at third grade math level and by the end of this summer she will be at fourth grade level. The teacher's are the best and work very well with her. She just love's it now.
Zhenya has a fine time with it. I think she breathes more freely knowing that she doesn't need to measure up to 6th grade math standards at this point. We have had some technical difficulties (nearly every week!) but that's probably my quirky old computer. She really enjoys Kristen and Alicia, and wasn't all that comfortable with a third teacher with whom she worked recently. It's a great program, to be sure. I'm hoping this summer will help Zhenya feel more confident with math.
The most important impact Mathnasium has made on my child is that he is so much more confident in the classroom than he was before starting this program. He is a 6th grader and had to go all the way back to 3rd grade material to bring him up to speed. Just doing that has helped him manage the new material that is being presented.

My granddaughter had so much frustration and no confidence when it came to math. In the five months that she has been with Mathnasium she is doing much better in school, and now has the confidence to hold her hand up to answer any question that the teacher may ask any student.

You make it easy for the parents. Get the child logged on and go cook dinner. Teacher reported more student confidence and better performance within the first two weeks of starting the program. The instructors keep it fun; our son actually has a good time...doesn't seem like an extension of school to him.
I am amazed at how much my daughter has improved since last school year. She comes homes with A's and high B's on her math tests now, and last year she struggled just to get C's. She loves her lessons on the computer each week, and always has a smile on her face while she's working with her instructor. Her teachers have been trying to help her the past few years (from 2nd-4th) and and would give her extra sheets to work on her facts, but she never enjoyed doing them and it just became a chore. Whatever her Mathnasium instructor worked on with her really clicked, and she can do her homework so much faster than before! Thank you! I also like that it can fit our schedule. My only gripe is that I wish it was more affordable, or you could do one lesson every other week to help out with cost.
Being able to get math help for my daughter right from home is very convenient. The price is very reasonable as well....especially for the quality of the program and instructors.
I can see in my grandkid that she is starting to get the math know. And it is getting less stress full for her. She has stared to rise her hand now.

There is no conveniently located Mathnasium near us and the online sessions have been a lifesaver!
