The service and the quality.
Our local Culligan Water company has everything we need to ensure our family has quality water. From the well to the house, we have an iron reduction tank, a water softener, a whole house UV filter and an under the counter Osmotic filter. No iron or hard water stains inside or out side at sprinkler heads. Culligan has great service technicians that are knowledgeable in all our equipment including the downhole well pump.
I would have rated them a 10 out of 10, except for the price of service maintenance contracts and somewhat limited coverage on some replacement bulbs or canister filters. The annual maintenance service contracts on some equipment (iron reduction and water softener) are covered in full including the price of labor and service calls. However, given the annual price of these maintenance contacts I am dismayed why some items are covered but others are not. For example, the canister filter on our whole-home UV light is covered and replaced annually, while the UV bulb is not. Similarly there is no service agreement available for the under-the-counter Osmotic filter which also requires filter replacement based upon use - in our case about once a year.
Overall we are quite satisfied with their quality equipment, experienced service technicians, and are available within a reasonable timeframe on non-urgent issues. For more urgent issues they send techs out asap usually within hours. Their equipment works well, day-in-and-out and often upgrade things like filter media for the iron reduction filter to fit our needs or as technology moves forward. If you are looking for a quality and reputable supplier for all your water needs - look no longer.
