The good, thorough, detailed cleaning work done by ServiceMaster, the techs are outstanding - "service with a smile", attention to detail, dedication & consistent focus on each task, plus the cost was only 30% of what a competitor proposed. In our recently purchased house Chris & Tim cleaned & conditioned all wood floors & cleaned all carpeting. Although the wood floors really need to be sanded & refinished, they didn't try to upsell/add on other services or products. They made them look as pretty as possible within their limitations. As well, they tackled our FILTHY, neglected, flagstone floors that had multi-layers of a heavily-applied top coat sealer. My goal was clean, bare stone as nature created it, & an invisible penetrating sealer, instead of a shiny one that sits on top. The job was much harder & time-consuming than anticipated. They had to strip & scrub the stone 3 TIMES to remove all the sealer & filth. Each time took an entire day - a lot of time spent on hands-and-knees. (We had no idea what was used as the sealer & knowing the chemical makeup of the product would have helped to determine the method(s) of removing it.) They're very nice, fun, personable guys who I never once heard complain. They talked to me about the difficulty they were having, but only to explain that the job was going to take longer than they'd planned since the sealer was so stubborn. They forewarned me that IF they were unable to completely remove the sealer, a similar shiny top coat would have to be applied again. Not an option, I told them. Both Chris & Tim rose to the challenge, were committed to, and worked very hard doing whatever was necessary to reveal the natural stone. I highly recommend ServiceMaster!
