First, let me say that I rarely refer any service or business because I am not easily satisfied. So, the only part of school my child likes is PE, recess and sometimes music and art. He begs me to go to Mathnasium constantly. Before we get to our car, he almost always asks if he can go back the next day. He is as excited as a child could be about attending. I seriously don’t understand it. He is not happy that he can only go for 1 hour a day. He also attends other learning services for other subjects but has to be convinced to attend those sessions. It usually takes everything we have to get him to do any type of learning activity at home. Every time I send him with any extra work from school, they are able to help him with it and on many occasions they are able to come up with extra work sheets that help explain the specific type of math questions. My only complaint is that they are not open on Fridays during the school year because that would fit our evening schedule much better but I understand that we all need time off. Rob and the rest of the staff at the Augusta location communicate with me after each session, which allows me to understand exactly what he did and what he may need to work on.
The individual attention she gets is making a big difference in her attitude about math and her abilities.
I love the fact that we can go whenever we want depending on our daily schedule. It has and continues to be a very positive experience for our son.
Couldn't be happier with how much progress our son has made and how much he loves going.

I would recommend this program for every child who fallen behind in math. This program will exercise their learning abilities and strengthen memory capabilities.

Unfortunately, public and private schools have become deficient in providing enough repetition for most students to excel at math. Mathnasium provides the remedy to put your child in the performance comfort zone in math.

Mathnasium is a wonderful service that offers regular support and instruction for a much-needed academic area. I think if the local business expanded its hours slightly - opened daily 1 hour earlier - it would be even more convenient and workable for many families as well as possibly decreasing the number of seats used during peak hours.
Ayden continues to grow in his knowledge of math and has even gotten to a point he enjoys doing Math at Mathnasium. He really enjoys the instructors! It was really nice seeing one of the instructors (Jim) out at dinner one night before Christmas as he acknowledged Ayden by name and came over to have a discussion. This demonstrated to us that the instructors care about our child in a personal way and it’s more than just a job.
