We have now been attending Mathnasium for 2 years. My child has gone from a place of frustration to great confidence with math. She absolutely loves the Collegeville center and the instructors. The center Director keeps us actively informed and engaged about her progress and sessions. We are so fortunate to have Steve Gist as the center Director, the program engagement and communication increased significantly when he joined the team. Our daughter was falling behind in math and frustrated to achieving above level test results. Mathnasium is an investment in my daughter’s future and some would leave the program once they are back to a comfort level with their skills. My daughter wants to stay to continue to grow and learn. We chose Mathnasium over an hourly tutor due to the curriculum and ability to evaluate and address missing foundational issues. Hourly tutors often are just homework help with no curriculum or evaluation process to address foundational issues. We are thankful and highly recommend the program.

We love Steve! He’s super responsive, friendly, and helpful. To say our daughter enjoys going is a stretch, but she doesn’t fight us to go, which is huge. She hasn’t been going long enough to really judge success, but she is showing more confidence in her math.

Mathnasium was a game changer for my 13 year old son! Not only did his math grades improve but he finally felt confident in a school subject which spilled over into other subjects. My son was struggling in math and was getting frustrated and shutting down. His evaluation determined he had gaps in his learning after a 3rd grade year of mostly virtual learning. After his first visit he said “I already feel better about math.” He has only completed 6 sessions and already has achieved mastery in 4 areas. He looks forward to going every session and his self esteem has improved.

Mathnasium has changed my son's view of himself as a learner. He used to break down in tears and ask why couldn't be smart like other kids. That has NEVER happened again since starting Mathnasium!! I thank GOD for this place. My son now believes that there is no math problem that he can not figure out!
We love Collgeville Mathnasium. They're absolutely wonderful and our daughter has gone from a near-failing grade to an A in math at school. We were worried because she had just been diagnosed with a math processing disorder but the way that the tutors teach in Mathnasium has been perfect for her.
I love Mathnasium and so does my son. The people who work there are awesome, the kids get help and attention commensurate with their needs, and the owner has shown genuine care and interest in each child.
Teachers are Highly educated people. and so patient. They are so passionate teaching students. My daughter had difficult time to understand Math and Math in English too, (English is her second language)
but they have taught her very nicely using Universal language, I mean "Math".
I saw that great difference of my daughter's Math impression "Before and After" against Math.
Now she overcame the fear of Math quizzes and big tests. I appreciate their great work for my daughter. I highly recommend Collegeville Mathnasium to all parents who are looking for good Math tutor.
