We love Mathnasium Madison which is run by very nice smart people who want to give back to the community. It is a well supervised, safe, focused on mathematics, fun for young people and kids environment where you can win points and games after you master mathematical concepts and finish your homework.
ALSO This is a place to go to catch up for COVID created missed math time - for SAT’s and ACT’s - for high school kids who are a little scared right now because of any class time deficiencies this is a great place to go.
Very knowledgeable tutors for all grades and the @Home sessions started during the pandemic and now part of the regular offered programs add a great option for your students to fit the class that fit their schedule.
Also, working with the management office is always efficient and prompt to satisfy schedule and other adjustments. Great center!
My daughter has always made honor roll in math, but the PSAT indicated that she had not learned what she should have. Mathnasium has been great one-on-one teaching and tutoring to get her up to speed in the exact areas she was weak in. The tutors don’t just give correct answers when a student gets something wrong. They walk them back through the process, asking questions at every step, leading the student to discover their own mistakes, and explaining why and how problems are solved as they are.
My child enjoys coming to mathnasium. The instructors are friendly and patient with the children.
Great folks. Both of my kids go here and they are one grade ahead of what they teach in classroom. Mrs. Linda and her staff is excellent.
The staff shows much care and tailors the lesson plan each of our children. Already, Math grades have improved a whole letter grade. Practice makes perfect! With the correct help and, perhaps, an alternative thought process to tackle math curriculm, our children have been able to choose the best way to tackle math that fits their though process/perspective. We have had excellent experience with Mathnasium in Madison. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. Our son went from lacking confidence in math and "tuning out" in class to being near the top of the class in less then a year! His confidence improved dramatically and he now has math "sense" in attacking problems. We hope to continue with this program into high school to enhance his college options.
Since starting Mathnasium, my daughter has gain confidence in her math skills. She has been able to retain the things she has learned in Mathnasium to help her improve her math grades and to be able to feel much better in her knowledge of Math.
After only a few sessions, my child came up 10 points on his geometry grade. I am sure next quarter he will do even better!
