My daughter struggled with math so much that helping her with her homework was a real battle... it was getting so bad that sometimes we just felt it wasn’t worth doing homework with her. I struggle myself with math and I just didn’t want her to feel she couldn’t do it... frustrated and almost giving up I talk yo a friend who suggested a math tutor. She told me about the Mathnesium!

I really wasn't expecting immediate result but after just one week I was seeing a lot of confidence in him. His grade went up 2 grades in not even a month. My son says they explain things in a way that's easy to understand. It's only been a month but I hope things keep up.

The staff is good and knowledgeable and we liked their way of teaching math concepts. It was short stay for us and due to move we have to discontinue but we would have loved to continue if stayed in Utah. I would recommend this.

My son is pretty withdrawn and doesn’t like to open up to new experiences very often- especially when it comes to school related activities. With Mathnasium, he literally beams whenever it’s time to go see his friends and he always has a great time. This is exactly what he needs to pull him out of his shell and get the confidence he needs to continue building his math skills and learn. I’m glad we made this happen and I’m so grateful for everyone at mathnasium. They are phenomenal with kids and are total game changers for parents!

My daughter went from struggling in math to being tops in her class. She is already performing 2 grade levels above what she is learning in school. What used to be a point of frustration for us and her is not her favorite subject.
Mathnasium has been a great find for us! Our daughter (a High School Freshman) has gone from straight F's in Math to consistent B's. To say she struggled with math would be an understatement. We finally took her to the U of U for a full Educational Assessment which was a very enlightening experience. Among other things we learned that she struggled with some specific learning deficiencies in Math. We had tried tutoring with little effect and then decided to give Mathnasium a shot.
Mathnasium has been a great decision! Most importantly, her understanding of the concepts have significantly improved and therefor her grades have also significantly improved. The added bonus is that she really likes to go to Mathnasium and never complains or resists going (if you have teenagers you'll get why this is so surprising) She likes the tutors she works with and feels like they really care about her success in school and as a person. She enjoyed the environment and the other students who attend and has developed friendships that make attending fun.
We had a great experience with Mathnasium. My daughter learned a lot and gained confidence with her Math skills. I wish there was a closer location to my home though, a location in Bluffdale/Riverton would be awesome!
