Customer Testimonials
It's a great place.
I do not feel that Mathnasium was able to help us with the specific goal that we had that my son wanted to test out of algebra over the summer holidays because our situation was unique. However, I do believe that your system is very well designed to help children that are a bit weaker with math and at the same time it is so much fun that the kids have a really positive attitude about attending Mathnasium which makes them very motivated.
Everyone is kind, approachable and understanding. My kids love going there and I love the results!
We are new to the system, however my grandson is very comfortable here. I like the fact that the manager seems to know all of the children. I sense that the staff are invested in instructing the children.
Great experience! My child is much more confident in math!
Our granddaughter loves to go to Mathnasium. We have seen her attitude about math change from fearful and worried, to excited and confident.
We are so grateful,

I love the set-up and everyone was super supportive. I would recommend this program to everyone.
To my surprise our 10-year old granddaughter has been eager to attend.
Knowing that there are certified teachers helping my children really makes me feel secure about sending them. Thank you for having this available!
Mathnasium has helped my kids get into a comfortable routine of practicing math and they now feel confident about their skills and doing math homework from school.
The girls have told me that they like getting the extra help they need with their math.
My 5 year old Reagan is absolutely obsessed with Mathnasium!! Ms. Christina is patient, kind and very professional and has made Reagan’s experience a great one! The two days a week that I thought would be too much for her isn’t even enough! If it were up to her she would come five days a week, she absolutely LOVES it there!
Ellie really looks forward to her time at Mathnasium which is a big change from where she was before with tears!
everyone was extremely helpful and I definitely am considering continuing to use your services as soon as we find out what classes Pierce is going to have
The owner is very accommodating and helpful with planning my daughters next steps for continuous improvement.
Ms. Kimberly and the entire staff are AWESOME and truly a blessing to our family. Our daughter loved math before we came to the facility but lost some confidence when the new math came along. Now her confidence is stronger and math is her passion again. The staff is inspiring and knows how to encourage the students on the more challenging parts of math. Our daughter looks forward to going to Mathnasium and we are delighted with her growth in math since she's been attending classes.
My daughter has continued to progress in her math classes !
Thanks to Mathnasium, my daughter loves math!
My son failed math in 10th grade at a privat school with only 9 students in his class, and was a 2.1 student. He attended class every day and sat through every lesson but never understood what was going on. We met with the teacher, had conferences with all of his teachers and the principal specifically on this issue, he got no worthwhile support from a school we were paying a lot of money for him to attend.
He lost any math confidence he had and any overall academic confidence he had. Despite being interested in his other classes, he developed a negative overall academic outlook which lead to a negative overall outlook for his future.
His 10rh grade math teacher was ultimately fired after the school year for unknown reasons. It goes to show a negative academic experience with a less than in tune teacher can traumatize a students outlook and outcome. We added mathnasium for the second semester of 10th grade and after a few sessions he came out and said “Dad, it’s like I went in with blinders on and came out to a shining sun!” It was the very first time he had an inkling if what was going on. He still failed the second semester, but got a B in summer school when he retook the whole year’s course over the summer while attending mathnasium.
We changed schools for 11th grade to the local public high school, and continued mathnasium. He has specifically gained math confidence now and has caring teachers and relationships with the mathnasium staff. He is taking 11th grade math in a half speed environment which removes the pressure of getting through material too fast. This allows him to pace himself and remain on pace. He may never pursue a career in mathematical science, but the combination of a new environment and mathnasium has allowed him to gain overall academic confidence as well.
He was a 3.67 student semester 1, and a 3.2 student semester 2 of 11th grade. He got an A in math both semesters. My son is now considering applying for MSU and believes he can get accepted to a big 10 school. His SAT score was not great, but he believes in himself, and will retake the test in the hopes of getting 1Phone number removed.
Simply put, mathnasium changed the projection of my sons academic outlook.
For those of you considering utilizing their service, my experience has been that a $20,000+ per year private school could not do for my son what $260/month and a public school education did.
I am excited about their service. While it cannot work without the student wanting to find success, if the student has the motivation to be more than what he was, he can find a way to be all he can be. I am fortunate to have a student son who grudgingly agreed to go to mathnasium. Once he got acclimated, it was a life changing experience.
While he has used his mathnasium time to mostly guide him through his homework, and has not focused in on SAT type learning, and has not met all of their internally set marks, the outcome cannot be denied. He likes math and got an A both semesters of 11th grade.
Mathnasium of WB exceeded our expectations in terms of the needs our child had at the end of the school year. Max was behind on turning in homework assignments and did not fully grasp some of the concepts. Mathnasium helped get him caught up and he gained more confidence in the topic areas that were giving him issues. He finished the semester with a B- (from a D+ with missing assignments). We are looking forward to continuing our relationship when Max returns from camp this summer.
My daughter is doing better in math
Mathnasium was the best value and saved our sanity as parents. Both my husband and I are in math fields with MBAs, but having Mathnasium supplement our daughters education, has saved us many frustrating nights at the kitchen table. Our daughter is now getting A's in her grade level math class & when she started 5 years ago, she was in the "slow" math class.
Our granddaughter started recently, and she is doing very well now at school. She has lots more confidence, and enjoys going to Mathnasium.
I enjoy seeing my girls advancing in math. Also I like the progress report they get monthly. Tutors are good assessing their comprehension and they wait till my girls master the concept before moving them up to the next level.
Very happy with the Mathnasium. Friendly knowledgeable instructors. My daughter is e excited to go there twice a week!
My daughter's grade greatly improved.
I have three kids enrolled in the West Bloomfield location. Kim is the director and I have yet to meet another person like her. My kids have become so successful with this program and are actually excited for Mathnasium days. Dusting school breakbthey asked for extra days . This program and the people involved are amazing.
We love Mathnasium
