You guys are great. My daughter's math grades went up a lot. You eased the stress she had about going to math class. You explained math in a way she understood it. She is back to liking math! Everyone was so nice and she looked forward to going to Mathnasium to help with homework. She did very well on her regents exam. It's nice to know there is help if she needs it.

My son loved working with the staff at Mathnasium! At first he was very resistant to going, but soon I realized he was very willing. He said it made him sad how much he was able to learn there in a short time that he hadn't been able to in school. I reminded him that the last couple years have been very challenging for everyone during the pandemic. Also that he just seems to do much better one on one. He also was very responsive to the fact that he viewed the staff as young and cool, which I guess made him feel like it wasn't uncool to learn 😉

My son really enjoys going there and he tells me that he feels like he is learning. My son used to say he hates math and he did not like to do extra work that involved math. When I signed him up for Mathnasium he actually asked me to go there and whenever I would tell him we had to go he was excited and if we didn't go, he would asl why.
I enjoyed working with Rich and his team. My daughter was a little difficult at first but we put our heads together and now she is doing great. Although she is in 2nd grade and doesn't have as much homework as others she has improved tremendously with Mathnasium. I shouldn't be the one providing other work for her to be done, but to make the tutor time and to fulfill the payment per month I would supply extra worksheets for my daughter to learn. The assessment they did should show where her weaknesses were and how they can work with her. Also, working virtually is a bit harder than in person but the team should have been working with her on her weaknesses more.

We had a great experience here! The teachers are well versed and relatable to my teenager. They helped to build her confidence and understanding in math. These sessions made a world of difference for her grades.

Both my sons tell me when they need to go to mathnasium. They leave feeling confident. It's great because it can always work around our schedules.
Richie, at Lake Grove and Smithtown, has been an awesome tutor! He is professional, reliable, and above all, a great teacher. When my son is home from college, Richie helps him keep up with his calculus classes. We only wish there were a way for my son to contact Mathnasium, and Richie while he is away at school.

Our experience with Mathnasium over this past summer in preparation for a Geometry regent retake was amazing. Your tutors in the Lake Grove location instantly put my son at ease. Let's just say that he was quite hesitant about the prospect of having to study and learn math over his summer vacation but the tutors immediately connected with him and together they worked with him and upon retake of the regent, his score nearly doubled! He's even stated that if he needs help with this years math, he'd happily return to Lake Grove Mathnasium!
