The teachers at Mathnasium are very relaxed and engaging with the kids. They are kind and tolerant of movement and when kids are having not-so-great days and are supportive regardless. As a family, we really appreciate it because the child continues to want to go back to Mathnasium due to the positive attitude and support from their Mathnasium teachers!
Our experience with Mathnasium has been fantastic! Both of my sons, ages 5 and 7, absolutely love the program. Every time I pick them up, they ask to stay longer because they’re having so much fun while learning. The instructors make math engaging and tailored to each child’s needs, which has really boosted their confidence and skills. It's wonderful to see them excited about learning and building a strong foundation in math. The teachers are so skilled with the kids. They are patient and kind. Mathnasium sets out to make math accessible and doable, not mysterious and insurmountable. They take the fear out of math and put it within reach. The system is designed in a smart, graduated way that can be fit to each kid’s needs, whether those needs are remedial or accelerated. We recommend Mathnasium all the time and are grateful for what it’s given our kids.

My daughter is very much enjoying her sessions at Mathnasium. She especially likes that it’s math only and she’s not mixed in with little kids learning to read as it was at our previous tutoring place.
She likes that it’s for “big kids” and she’s also enjoying the rotating teachers. She likes that a lot. She also appreciated the support she got before her recent math test, being able to bring in her review sheets from school. Everyone has been really great.

We have had a great experience with Mathnasium, I have a high school age daughter and it is tough to find a good fit in a tutor at that age. Your style of independent working is a great fit for my daughter, she likes the independence, I like the flexibility to work in curriculum or test/home work prep. This year having a french speaking staff member at the centre was amazing for us as well. Being in french immersion, sometimes language can be as much of the issue as the math concepts can.
My only real struggle is balancing the monthly fee with life and the many times we can't make it, are away for a break or holiday or simply have a conflict or illness. Although we have been able to extend some of those weeks at the end of the contract, the cost is high for us. I know you are competitive, for me it is simply paying for a session when we don't/can't go feels so wasteful and expensive. I'm not sure how to modify that, I suppose that comes along with a monthly contract.
Overall so happy with Mathnasium you have done wonders for my daughter in terms of her math confidence, approach and outcomes. Thank you!
Hayden likes going to Mathnasium as he is highly motivated by points and prizes, but he also likes going because he likes the teachers. Understanding math concepts has given him confidence at school and he no longer dreads math homework.

My child loves it. It’s definitely a more solid approach than we ever had before. We are used to have a homework tutor that was putting “bandaids” on. Now, Mathnasium is filling in the gaps. The confidence is growing.
