Mathnasium has helped both our 4th and 6th Graders enormously. They both love going to the sessions where the individual program has them reviewing areas of concern with their grade level knowledge, and then assisting them master the content their classes are currently working on (which is a huge help to homelife too!). The folks at Mathnasium engage with our girls' teachers every week to stay on top of what is happening in class and both daughters report that having a range of coaches at each session, each with different ways of breaking down concepts, helps them to better understand their school material. Both have much more confidence in their math skills. As a parent I appreciate how professional the Mathnasium folks are to schedule and communicate with, and how friendly and welcoming the environment they create it. Both our daughters were beginning to have negative associations with math before starting at Mathnasium and are now back to happy and excited to learn more. We are 1 trimester in and know that Mathnasium will be an important ingredient in our girls' success throughout the school year (but they make it clear you can come and go from Mathnasium over the course of your child's school life as the need for their support arises). I couldn't ask for more in a math tutoring program as a concerned parent...
Mathnasium is fantastic. My daughter was having math anxiety. About 6 months with Mathnasium and her confidence grew so much she was bumped to the advanced math level in school. My son’s grades also improved. He started getting excited about new concepts he was learning in school. I highly recommend.

My daughter went to Mathnasium for 1 1/2 years. When she entered she was about 6 months behind in math and scoring 3s on her practice FSA exams. We were concerned because at that time she was in 4th grade and would have to earn a 4 or 5 on the math FSA to qualify to take the advanced math course offered at her school. After 4 months at Mathnasium she managed to score a 4 on the 4th grade math FSA and ended up qualifying to take the advanced math in 5th. After a year and a half of Mathnasium she was able to score a 5 on the 5th grade math FSA and is on solid ground for taking 7th grade math next year in 6th grade. Mathnasium provides solid weekly practice which gives the students a strong foundation in the basics which they can apply to tougher, more abstract math concepts. Moreover, it gave my child the confidence she previously lacked, and set her up for long-term success. She was also able to see that hard work, over months and months, achieves real results and that if she works hard at something, even something that is challenging, she can gain the skills to be successful. Mathnasium helped foster a growth-mindset and strong work habits, facilitating the quality of grit, which anyone who wants to be successful, needs to possess.
You always start on time with my son and his assigned tutor is always there. The Tutors build an excellent rapport with my son and evaluation his progress and send a report home to the parent. I can monitor his progress and where he’s at from the Math Plan to his daily evaluation reports and what my son shares with me when we read his daily progress reports. My son will be taking the ACT Test in July and I noticed on several of his daily progress reports, they went over information about ACT, amazing. For my money, I choice the right Tutoring Business out of 3 Tutoring companies.

Ms. Lauren is too good, patient and knowledgeable in teaching kindergartener. I love the way of her teaching.
They are really helping fill the fundamental gaps that were brought out due to Covid. Closing those gaps will help and are helping with my sons school work.

My child has attended Mathnasium a couple of times throughout school-- once in elementary school when he was struggling and again as an 9th and 9th grader after he'd experienced some pretty serious learning loss due to the pandemic.
Mathnasium's program was so effective when he was in elementary school that I knew immediately where to turn in middle school. The staff at the St. Pete location is great. They communicate well, the tutors were great, and they accommodated our schedule changes as need.
I cannot recommend their services enough. My son was comfortable and made incredible progress while he was there. He gained the skills and confidence he needed and is doing really well in math now.
Good teaching but frustrating contract

Hi Lauren and the other girls have been great and so helpful for my boys over the past year and have ensured that we have caught up on COVID loss and now they are so much more confident in class.
