After switching private schools two years ago, our daughter tested poorly in mathematics at the start of her second year in her new school. It was unexpected since she had always received A's and B's on her report cards. Additional testing from the school showed gaps in her learning going back to 5th grade prohibiting her understanding. We tried hiring individual tutors and working with the school to help her. It only lead to more frustration. Our daughter began doubting herself and believing she just couldn't do math. We brought her to Parker Mathnasium. Their tests revealed the same issues as the private school's, except they had a solid plan to help get our daughter back on track. Not only did Mathnasium help her to advance a level in math at her current school in just a few months, but she was able to more than double her test scores! She is starting in the AP math and science courses for high school this fall! Our daughter has regained her confidence in her ability to comprehend and do math well. It's now one of her favorite subjects! Thank you to Allison and the Parker Mathnasium team for going above and beyond! You've opened greater opportunities for our daughter's life.
My Son absolutely loves and looks forward to going to MA+hnasium 3 days a week. He loves the "I GET IT" feeling. Staff has such a graceful way to let him know his struggled area, and reassure his ability to excel. My daughter struggled with math for years. In the 5 months we've been with Mathnasium, not only have her skills increased, but she feels confident that with time, she will be able to catch up to grade level. The instructors are patient, understanding, encouraging and friendly, and kids have so many opportunities to earn rewards for their consistent work. Certainly the best experience my daughter has had with math since she started going to school.

In the month that we've been attending, my daughter's feelings about math have changed from "I can't do math" to "I can do it, even if it's not my favorite". She doesn't love math yet, but this is a monumental positive change for her. Kids have lots of chances to earn rewards at Mathnasium, and this is the first positive experience she's had with math since she started school.

I asked our daughter if she liked Mathnasium. Her response was “Mommy, I don’t like it—I LOVE it!!!” She looks forward to going to her sessions and even asked me why the school couldn’t teach math the “easy way like Mathnasium.” We love the positive learning environment. Our daughter is much more confident even after only 4 weeks. We are huge fans!

This first month as been a positive experience fr my daughter and I'm looking forward to her starting school.
Although we’ve only been using Mathnasium for a short time, I can already see my daughter’s confidence in math growing! I know her anxiety about the upcoming school year is greatly reduced because she knows that she will have the help she needs to succeed! It’s made a world of difference already!

We like how learning math and math concepts is made fun. Mathnasium has taken the stress out of trying to teach at home. Our child put up walls with us because we couldn’t teach the concepts in an understandable way. Math games only got us so far. Mathnasium staff meets our child’s needs and helps make learning fun. Thank you.
We love the upbeat and positive atmosphere at this center. The approach builds on students' strengths and helps to develop skills in those areas where more attention is needed. The hour spent is a nice mix of independent work and help with an instructor to learn new concepts, check understanding or ask questions. The reward system and positive culture (e.g., everyone stops to clap when a fellow student has an error-free page) make this fun for the student. I especially like the summer program here--without the stress of daily homework and tests at school, kids are free to just focus on moving through their tailored curriculum at their own pace. I highly recommend Parker Mathnasium!
