My daughter really responded well to working with the high-school aged math tutors, particularly the girls. I think she saw them as role models in a way, and they were able to convince her that math wasn't scary. My daughter really felt overwhelmed when she began tutoring, as if her math ability wasn't good enough. After attending Mathnasium all summer she is much more positive about her abilities.
My son finds Mathnasium is very helpful. Some concepts he did not understand he understands much better. Very pleased with Mathnasium so far.

Well round coaching and emphasis on understanding concepts rather than just repetitive practice. I also like the use of paper and pencil in the class, I believe it helps them focus better. Also having kids with multiple levels learn in close proximity helps the junior kids pick up some advanced concepts.

I am an adult student and they were excellent with me. I needed to get in fast and learn fast and the eden prairie team was super helpful!! I needed to pass a placement test to get into a college algebra class, but I actually placed into the pre-calculus class after maybe 7 visits. The cost of the "10 session" pack that i bought was expensive, but it was less than the cost of taking a class, and in the end it saved me the cost of 2 classes! Awesome!
My daughter is a 3rd grader and loves Mathnasium! We tried it out this summer and enjoyed it so much that she has asked to continue throughout the school year! She loves all the teachers and connects with how they are teaching her to learn! She told me that she is becoming a "confident math student"! What parent doesn't want to hear that! Thank you Mathnasium!
It's a great place. I wish I could make regular math tutoring appointments though (ie every Tues at a certain time). thanks!
My son fell behind & needed special math but after nine months at Mathnasium he was scoring above on his standardized tests at school again. The teachers are approachable which matters because my son is shy and doesn't easily ask for help.

Staff has been very accommodating fitting lessons in our busy schedule and are always trying to meet my daughters individual needs.
