My daughter has been receiving tutoring at Mathnasium for several years which has helped her obtain an “A” in every single one of her Accelerated and Integrated Math classes.
Recently my granddaughter was having major problems with her pre-calculus at School. She is a great student in all her other classes but for some reason found this class simply overwhelming. We were desperate as to where to turn. I had contacted several independent tutors and found that they were not connecting with my granddaughter. Mathnasium was recommended to us by the School. I contacted them and spoke with Doug and explained our situation to him. He encouraged us to come in so that one of his tutors could sit with my granddaughter to review her most recent test which she did poorly in.
From the moment that we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised when I was greeted by Doug. He was understanding and very knowledgeable not only in the subject matter but also as to the methodology by which they would make the material understandable to my granddaughter.
We sat down with Carlos, one of the tutors and we were instantly struck by his congenial and cheerful disposition. He instantly connected with both of us. We felt comfortable that he could make this material comprehendible to her. He was patient and understanding in his review of a test that she did poorly in. After few questions, we were sure that he would be able to lift the vail of confusion as to the subject matter from my granddaughter. He demonstrated a genuine and desire for her success in the class. His attitude created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which we felt free to any question about the material being review. He offered short cuts and tips on how to get the work completed.
I am sure that Doug and Carlos both represents the highest standard of professional excellence that Mathnasium strives to present to the public. Although the words “Customer Service” are usually a worn-out marketing pitch, there is no doubt in my mind that these words having a real meaning to them as this was reflected in the way we were treated. You can be assured that I will let all my work associates, family members and friends know about my experience with Mathnasium

My Son was having challenges understanding Precalculus from his High School teacher. With Mathnasium tutoring he has been able to easily understand it and stay on track with the course.
Mathnasium is a great way to boost up your child’s confidence in math. My daughter really enjoys working with Doug’s team.

Mathnasium has been a Godsend for my granddaughter. This has changed how she views math and is no longer intimidated by it. Her grade last year went from a D to a B+. She on break now, but we will definitely be back as soon as school kicks back in!
We enrolled our daughter Leah in Mathnasium because she was having difficultly with classes at her High School.
Mr. Wolf was attentive and tested our daughter so he could better understand exactly what the issues were and designed a program for Leah to succeed.
I would recommend this program to any parent that is concerned about their students performance or just to assist their child to better comprehend the Math that is being taught in the schools

My daughter was a senior in high school and was struggling in her AP stats class. She tried every possible study group. We reached out to Mathnasium and it was like night and day. She went for approximately two months and was able to finish with a B. She was a D when she started. Thank you Doug!!
