My son used to love school and love math. He excelled in it until he got a teacher who completely destroyed his self confidence which resulted in him developing a fear and unworthiness. It was awful. He started having a real emotional and physical reaction when it came time to do math and math homework so he just gave up. Instead of his teacher helping him, she reprimanded him which only made it worse.

I found Mathnasium wth the hope they would find a way to connect with my child and give him the confidence he needed to shine again. I expected it to take some time but literally after the first session, his little spark was reignited into a flame that has been glowing ever since.
His excitement for math is back, he looks forward to going to Mathnasium every week and I can't wait to see what the next few months bring in his little joirney to math greatness!

Our son thinks the tutors at Mathnasium Studio City do a more effective job teaching Algebra than the teachers at his regular school.

Andrew and his staff were always extremely courteous to me and my daughter, accomodated our schedule changes, made our daughter feel welcome and comfortable and got right down to the business at hand! My daughter was never reluctant to go to Mathnasium nor did she feel any pressure or anxiety related to her math tutoring. The atmosphere was positive....the team are energetic, warm and sincere with the parents and kids alike. I would highly recommend Studio City Mathnasium and plan to continue in the Mathnasium in our new neighborhood.

We LOVE Mathnaseum. The instructors are amazing and it's been remarkable to watch my daughter struggle in math to enjoy learning and excelling. We should have been doing this years ago!

Mathnasium is amazing-time and money well spent. They truly help to accurately guide what instruction your child receives with their assessments- no wasted time or effort on the student or tutors part. When we started, I wasn’t sure what to expect/ how effective the program would be. I now believe Mathnasium parents/students have a huge advantage: you can decide the priorities to work on and what your child has really mastered (or not) from school-students can even decide to use the time for homework assistance, if need be! For my child, Mathnasium initially provided some remedial help. Now, she is doing honors level work and is way ahead-a genuinely prepared, confident STEM-ready student. As cliche as it sounds, my only regret is not starting her with Mathnasium from kinder. Many thanks, Andrew and team!!!

Mastering math is all about practice, practice, and more practice. Mathnasium’s tutors are great at guiding students through areas of difficulty.

Mathnasium has helped our daughter to gain not only necessary math skills, but also confidence in her ability. The studio city team is very thoughtful and caring in their approach to supporting the kids in the math skills development. We receive weekly check in calls to let us know how our daughter is doing. We are so grateful we have found this educational gem!

For years, we had a private tutor for my daughter once a week. However, her grade - and more importantly- her understanding of the concepts were still lacking. It wasn’t “clicking ” Finally, we looked into Mathnaseum. Her confidence has grown, knowledge expanded and she enjoys math. The continuous one on one help and independent study at Mathnaseum are a perfect combination for kids struggling in math, and for those who want to broaden their skills. We are thrilled!

My daughter was struggling with math. She lacked confidence, was behind and didn’t connect with her math teacher at school. It was a mathematical perfect storm for a lifetime of struggling with numbers. I enrolled her in Mathnaseum and within eight months, she has excelled. She loves coming to Mathnaseum. Whether it’s working on her binder or math homework, coming to Mathnaseum is a joy. The continuity of five days a week has been phenomenal, more than any one day a week math tutor could provide. My only regret is not starting sooner.

I loved the home option during the social distancing, and I think it’s a great option to keep. My daughter looks forward to her classes and math is like-able to her now.

Individualized help and teaching, extremely accommodating and Alexis, the manager is very responsive and will respond to a text or email immediately. She’s the best and we love Mathnaseum!!
