Our daughter now loves math! And truly looks forward to mathnasium.

My daughter used to have no confidence in her ability to do math. She would get frustrated and give up easily. She fell further and further behind in school, despite lots of support at home and at school. Her anxiety led her to simply stare at the page during tests. Math homework nearly always ended with her in tears. She simply hated anything to do with math.
When she started at Mathnasium, she slowly began building up her confidence and her skills. After an initial reluctance, she stopped complaining about going and then, before long, was actually excited when it was her day to attend. But nothing could have prepared me for the day that she happily announced, "Mom, I just love doing math!"
A year ago, I would never have believed that that my math-phobic daughter could ever utter those words. Mathnasium has completely transformed her attitude toward math and given her the self-confidence to see herself as a 'math person'. This program is absolutely amazing and I couldn't give it a higher recommendation!

Trying to teach math to my son with ADHD has been a major challenge. Since the average ADHD brain maturity is about 2-3 year behind their biological age, most materials being taught in school is way above their abilities. Mathnasium's approach to "pick up where he left" was the right way for us. Alex has been going twice a week for the past 2 years, and while he is officially still behind for his grade, I know that he understands math, and secretly even kind of likes it. The most important thing for me is to know that he grasps the material without leaving large gaps which later can create big issues. I know that he will eventually be where he needs to be. Travis and Tim at the SLP-Mathnasium are real rock stars, being endlessly patient and tolerant! Love you guys!

My seventh grader feels like she can ask questions, and the staff takes the time to thoroughly explain answers. As a result her engagement and performance in math at school has improved dramatically. I highly recommend Mathnasium!

We took our daughter back to Mathnasium to give her a boost of confidence before she starts high school in the fall. She enjoyed it and learned a lot when she was younger, and even at 14, the experience is engaging and positive for her. I would definitely recommend Mathnasium!

The staff is great and I love that kids can choose which instructor to sit with so they feel comfortable going to one that they feel comfortable with and overall, the teachers patience and demeanor as well as math skills/knowledge is bar none.

Both my children enjoy their time a Mathnasium. My older child (7th grade) has told me that her work at Mathnasium has make her school math program easier. Mathnasium has helped to identify and fill any knowledge gaps in math that may have held her back in the past. She is feeling MUCH more confident in the math classroom!
