The kids don't complain about going there at all and they are gaining so much confidence with math even after just a couple months. It's a great program and they have fun there.
Our son's math skills were slowly declining for 2 years. By the time we noticed, he was struggling to get C's when he always had A's. This went unnoticed because he was still passing, we didn't observe the decline until he became more verbal about his dislike for math.
Through a little Facebook poll, we found that many parents were pleased with Mathnasium. We signed our son up and he quickly began to be okay with math. That feeling grew to comfort with math and then, finally, an appreciation for math.
Our son has been with the Maple Grove Mathnasium for over a year. We are pleased with the attention that he receives and the improvement that he has made. We can confidently say that he is back up in the A/B grade range and doesn't dread going to math any longer. The biggest win for us was when he told us about how he was able to explain a couple of math concepts to his work group.

We signed up for Mathnasium during the pandemic to fill a gap in school instruction. We continue to have our child attend because we have noticed significant improvement in confidence as well as overall math scores. Well worth the expense.
Our son is gaining confidence in his math skills. While we haven't seen results of grades in school yet, were happy with how he is doing and feeling about going to Mathnasium twice a week.

Since my son has started Mathnasium, his math test scores and grades have drastically improved. In 2021 when my son took the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) test, the test revealed he did not meet Minnesota's math standards for his grade. Due to the MCA test and his math grades at school, we enrolled him in Mathnasium. Over the course of six months we saw a huge improvement in my son's grades which went from a 1 and 2 (Osseo School District Grading) to a 3 and 4! On October 3, 2022, I received my son's MCA test scores and noticed a huge improvement of 112 points! My son went from "does not meet standards" to "meets standards" and his math score was higher than his school's average math score, his district's average math score, and even the state's average math score! I am glad that I enrolled my son in Mathnasium's program and will continue to keep my son in the program to assist him with his junior high math classes.
The schedule has been flexible which is helpful. Our daughter has improved in her math skills but we've seen a slip in her confidence now that middle school has started. All the reports from Mathnasium that come home are glowing so we are assuming our daughter is moving right along.
I have two kids at mathnasium and they both have grown in confidence. The best part is they don't even mind going!
My daughter is fairly happy to go and has a good time there, doesn’t feel pressured and is learning new tricks to help her do math more easily. Convenient location.

The staff at Maple Grove mathnasium is very good at communication, flexibility and very knowledgeable.
Mathnasium has been very helpful to teach my child the necessary skills to help with her math.
My daughter loves Mathnasium. The instructors are awesome and I love the extra math parties they have.
My only two concerns are that I wish the online scheduling was easier to use (see entire schedule at a glance, cancel/reschedule easier.) I also want to make sure that when my daughter brings homework in the instructors are offering help but not too much. I want her to know how to solve the tricky problems on her own, with minimal assistance.

Mathnasium has given my girls confidence in their own skills and boosted areas they needed help. This academic year has been more successful because of the knowledge they are gaining and reinforcing at Mathnasium!
The entire staff at Mathnasium Maple Grove are just great! They do a fantastic job with my kids, keeping them challenged, advancing and having fun. There are any number of things I could have my kids doing that require a lot more time and less money, but they aren't anywhere near as good for their futures. Mathnasium is exceedingly well worth the minimum time and investment!

Mathnasium really helped my daugher fill in the gaps in Mathematics. Her MAP test results showed that she has made consderable improvement!

My daughter has ALWAYS struggled with math & been very overwhelmed & just plain “anti-math”, fighting & avoiding like crazy …
But then, we decided to try the free lesson just to see if she didn’t hate it…. When I saw her with her instructor (amazing Alison!) she was LAUGHING & ENJOYING it!!!! Say what??? Not only the 1st time, but so far she hasn’t fought me or even hesitated when I say “it’s time to go to math!”
They’re really taking her from where she is & helping her grow confidence & skills, not just catching up to wherever she’s “supposed to be”!

My 6 year old loves Mathnasium so much that when he was sick he begged us not to cancel his time at Mathnasium! He also loves karate and swimming but didn’t seem to care about missing those activities for the week. When we told him he wouldn’t be going to Mathnasium he begged us not to cancel, he asked us if he could promise to wear a mask and promise not to cough and still go! Our son especially loves working with Connor and Beverly, and has enjoyed time with Nick and John. Highly recommend anyone considering Mathnasium! We are also a Kumon family and while we continue to use Kumon services it’s clear that our sons favorite center is Mathnasium. He comes out with a HUGE smile on his face, every time. Thank you Connor & Beverly! You make all the difference and we appreciate you!
