More than 3 days a week tutorial classes will be good
After a full year of 3x a week, my daughter is now math-confident. She is never reluctant to go to class--and is proud of the work she accomplishes. A year ago we might have been driving in the car and I would ask something like "well, you have $10, how much is nail polish usually? Can you buy it?" and get a glum "I don't know." Now, not only does she know, she "gets" the value of money. And she actively participates in conversations, volunteering math info. The other day I was talking to an adult family member about the cost of something, mentioning the price and that we needed 4 of them. She piped right up with a chipper "Wow, that's (total)" Not only was she right, she confidently volunteered and contributed her knowledge. Her new family nickname is "math girl" and she smiles every time.
My son enjoys his time at Mathnasium, it has only been a month and his grades have not improved but his attitude has made a complete turnaround about math.
