Have had a great experience with Mathnasium for my 2 high school kids. During the Covid 19 shut down and on line learning many concepts have been difficult to teach learn and understand, Mathnasium has bridged that gap perfectly.
My experience has been excellent. After looking at various math centres, Mathnasium was one where someone ALWAYS was available and responded timely. This gave me a sense of confidence and trust. I believe they have gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs and take time to address questions and concerns.

The only issue I have is that she is highly reactive to candy and candy is the treat that is given. I wish it was switched to something else. Alternatively, the parents should be asked prior to giving candy to the children.

Mathnasium continues to offer ongoing support for our son, a Grade 10 student. The setting allows and encourages him to work independently, or quickly reach out for immediate support from one of the knowledgeable and friendly tutors. We have used mathnasium regularly over the last six years and I often recommend their services to friends and families of the students that I teach. They provide written and verbal feedback whenever needed. A great experience all round.

My son was in grade 7 this past academic year and he started with Mathnasium 1 year ago (end of grade 6/entering grade 7). He has told me that Mathnasium has helped closed the gap in his understanding of math and that it has been beneficial having the Mathnasium tutors as another learning option to school. This past spring he participated in the Gauss math competition run by the University of Waterloo and he got a certificate indicating he scored in the top 25% of all participants. My daughter has had amazing improvement at school since she has been working with the awesome teachers at Mathnasium. She always loves to go to her sessions and finds the staff super helpful and fun to learn with. Her brother will now be joining her as well! Mathnasium gave to my daughter lots of support and guidance on how to improve her math skills. She has learned skills that have reinforced the school program.
