The staff is very polite and explain all the questions we have. They know how to keep the kids engaged with their learning. My sons said they love to go to Mathnasium because it is fun. Mathnasium at clear Lake City has a reward system that is very attractive to kids.
I tell all parents who suspect their kid could do more in math that that is probably true. Then I recommend Mathnasium because I think kids who want to work ahead prefer the active group setting and the interaction with several tutors.
This place is amazing! The people here are incredibly nice. A new Mathnasium was built in our town, about two minutes from my daughter's school, but we continue to drive a good 25 minutes to go to this location because of the people. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with my daughter.
Encouraging environment
My daughter Purnima has been going to Mathnasium for more than 3 years now. She does not complain to go there and says that instructors are very friendly and make math interesting. Earlier she said she liked math and now she says she loves math.
My daughter has improved her grades and understands concepts better than before. She no longer struggles in Math, and in fact, it is one of her strongest subjects.
One thing I would mention are the weekend hours are a little inconvenient. I would be great if there were morning hours on at least Saturday, so we can get a session in before functions or planned activities. With only afternoon hours we find we cannot make it during those times.
Very proffesional. My kid enjoys the way of teaching. He has fun every day and learns.

My son's experience with Mathnasium has been great. Just in the past month he has been attending he has progressed a lot. I use to ask him math questions and it would take him sometime to answer me but now he is quick to answer. Makes me very proud and happy to see that he is coming along.

My daughter has attended Mathnasium for over 1.5 years. She continues to love attending Mathnasium. All the instructors have a positive attitude and work well with her. She is working several grade levels above her actual grade. Mathnasium's program is great at spiraling topics so that the students do not forget once mastered. The skills that my 7 year old daughter have learned to do mental math is very impressive to watch. We love mathnasium!!

Athena is always receptive to focusing the sessions on what the student needs based on what is going on at school.

Kids gain a lot of confidence due to the extra work and practice.
Although I still check the homework when completed, the kids do get questions answered during their sessions. This gives them extra confidence.

Great concept! I would expand the cost sheet to include a 'drop by' cost where people could get help with real time homework.
