Mr. Dan puts his heart and soul into this center. He is always available to answer questions and help work through any challenges. The transition to 'home sessions' was smooth and actually has been pretty cool to welcome Mathnasium into our home. Thank you to all of the staff at Carol Stream Mathnasium.

Great way for kids to learn math

We have had great communication and thorough support from the director and tutors. Our daughter hasn’t been enrolled for very long, so we haven’t had a chance to see growth yet, but we are especially thankful to have Mathnasium during the shelter-at-home order. We appreciate the staff working hard to make sure she can work remotely.

Dan is amazing at communicating! He walked us through switching to online with patience and kindness. My daughter enjoys Mathnasium and we never have to argue about her to attend, who I is awesome!

Dan and all the instructors are so engaging with my son. They challenge him and brought the spark back into learning math. I love the assessments and progress reports they keep us informed where he’s at in the program. We are very grateful with the museum so quickly made the switch to online which has been working out great!

Thank you all so much for the help that you are providing my daughter helping her understand math more and although she still may not like math her improvement is what counts the fact that she likes to go to Mathnasium is a start of some success. My son was a little reluctant to receive tutoring, but he quickly grew to enjoy going to Mathnasium. I definitely saw his commitment to mathematics increase along with his confidence due to the Mathnasium strategies and instructors. However, I must also highly commend Dan Wilson, Assistant Director of the Carol Stream, IL location. I can see that his joy for mathematics is infectious. I wish he were my sons full-time teacher! He definitely goes the extra mile for all the students and I am very grateful for the influence he has had on my son.

My kids loved Mathnasium! Try learn a deeper understanding of their math from school and they have fun doing it. What I like most is to see them employ that knowledge in their daily activities. One was learning fractions and percentages. They were on a long trip in a van with younger kids. Do the question is “Are we there yet”. So the Mathnasium student calculate how far they were based on how long the trip was compared to how many hours they had travelled. So she would say we are half way there or we are three quarters there.

My children really enjoy Mathnasium!! The instructors are positive, knowledgeable, and helpful. Even though it is summer, and you would think they would complain about doing schoolwork, all three of my kids are excited to go to Mathnasium!! Thank you!

The tutors at Mathnasium are wonderful - they have been working with my son for over a year and he has benefitted greatly. He goes in on a regular schedule and they have helped him with homework, test preparation, SAT preparation, etc. I honestly believe that he has started enjoying math to the point where he is thinking of applying to be a tutor at Mathnasium himself. The tutors I have spoken with have been flexible and easy to work with. Overall a great experience. Thanks so much.

The kids love going to Mathnasium and they are learning math that they could not get at school. They tell me you are teaching them how to think through the multiplication table. I still think they need to memorize them and not have to think through for the answer.

My daughter has been going to Mathnasium for a couple of months now and it really has seemed to help with her math skills. They have a way of making learning fun which makes it easier for her to learn!

You did a great job relating the material with Brody, math was his worst subject and his last test he got an 88%. We regret not being able to do the summer but we will be starting up with mathnasium again August 1st, see you then,!

My daughter tells me that she likes going to Mathnasium. She says that she likes and understands math better from the teachers at Mathnasium. I am very happy with what my daughter is learning. Thank you to everyone.

My daughter is very comfortable and the instructors keep her engaged and are friendly. Her math grade has improved and her test and quiz scores are consistently better with a greater understanding of the concepts.

We cannot say enough good things about Mathnasium! In a very short period of time, they were able to prove to our teen that math CAN be explained and understood. Carlos and Dan were able to take complex problems and explain the theories of how to solve them. Our son was able to ace his final and hit second semester with a firm understanding of the first semester’s work. They did in a few weeks what his class teacher was unable to do throughout the entire first semester. We would strongly recommend to anyone who is struggling to understand the explanations they are currently receiving.

My daughter like this place. She told me, her teacher in Mathnasium explain everything very good and slowly . This place and people are very friendly.

Everyone is very helpful and is patient with everything that I had questions on to coming up with problems in their heads to prepare me for my exams. I would highly recommend mathnasium to anyone in need of help with math.
