Our daughter loves Mathnasium and we were so lucky to give it a try. She has been going regularly for the last 8 years!! She has reached amazing milestones since her initial struggle with math with their student centered curriculum. They never made her feel ashamed or embarrassed for not getting an answer right. She always came home happy after her time there. Now, her confidence is spilling over to other subject matter! She has become a very successful high school math student and logical problem solver. Shane and his team are very flexible, supportive, patient, and communicative and have made her math path so much easier. And, from what I have observed, they really know how to make math fun and engage with the students to meet their expectations.

I also like the communication with the parents so we make sure we all form a trusted network of support for the children. Thank you for your patience in introducing math in such a way that makes it less scary and more attractive to students!

The staff is great. It's just hard to keep the kids motivated given busy schedules.
It took me forever to talk my son into tutoring. He has now asked if he can stay in tutoring throughout his junior year in high school. He feels great that he can stay focused on math and get help when he stumbles. It has shown him a way forward so he doesn't give up so easily. I am so hopeful that this is a turning point for him. I think he is on the cusp of believing he might just like math after all.

Annapolis Mathnasium has great instructors and a great center director. The instructor : student ratio is good ranging from 2:1 to 4:1. We like the personalized learning plan and our child is able to stick with it.

Extremely pleased with the approach they have with students in the center. The instructors are kind, knowledgeable and passionate about math, and very patient in explaining new concepts to the students. The open communication is a plus as well.
The director Shane and the instructors are great with the kids. They are patient and joke with them, and the kids seem to really enjoy them and attending Mathnasium. Math skills are taught and reinforced.
I also appreciate the flexibility and understanding that the center provides when suddenly extra friends decide to attend rather last minute.

My son likes coming and talking with the instructors. He is a kid who likes to feel cool & he thinks the instructors are cool! I’m glad there are young men who can relate to teen boys .
