Our family has greatly benefitted from Mathnasium, particularly this Boca location under David Loveland. I did extensive research on our academic math support options before selecting Mathnasium. This is the perfect fit for us! Kumon is a renowned program, but it was exclusively math enrichment with even more homework ...when our children were struggling with the assignments they already had. And Kumon did not offer support services if the children had difficulty with their school classwork. Private tutoring options ranged from $75-$150 an hour and were subject to the tutor's availability. This was completely cost-prohibitive for nightly homework assistance. Peer support options were non-efficient and more social than impactful. But MATHNASIUM with DAVE'S staff!!! This venue offers math enrichment, Chucky-Cheese type token-reinforcement for achievement, AND will sit with the child to complete homework or review missed test questions or help explain class notes!! And if I cannot get there in person, virtual is a wonderful, equally available option! It is 2 minutes off of 95 on Palmetto Park Road and in the same shopping center as Publix, so I am able to multi-task (rather than just sit there), which is a parent-bonus for me! But most importantly, I am pleased / reassured / delighted with my children's response and success with the program! THEY ASK TO GO!!!! And the resultant GRADES!!! :-) One of our children was having difficulty paying attention in class and her third-grade math scores were hovering at about 35% (yup, that's out of 100%). That was a few years ago when I explored our math support options. Within a month, she was steadily in the 85-95% range! And now she is a high schooler excelling in excelled math! Mathnasium is a 3-5 day a week commitment / relief for her and us all! And her younger siblings saw this success, and have ASKED to go, too! The price point for a single full-price session is $50 (I think), and substantially LESS if purchased as a package... and an UNLIMITED month membership is the same as ONLY THREE 50-minute sessions with a private tutor! Even the format is ideal, with often 2-3 children per instructor. The children are purposely NOT grouped with the same age or same math subject peers. The instructor offers direction to a student, then allows that student to make independent attempts while the instructor assists the other child(ren) at the table with individualized instruction, before circling back. This is the ideal format for a child to have scaffolding for independent comprehension and work product, without social distractors or the social inhibitions of sitting with a same-level peer who may be more / less successful with the homework. Plus, Mathnasium is open ALL SCHOOL NIGHTS (M-Th, and Sun) with convenient after-school hours. It used to be that you could just show up as a walk-in, but with Covid precautions, it is by appointment only, but easy to make an appointment via online or phone 24 hours in advance or make standing appointments. A warranted added comment is that this location's owner, David Loveland, is such a CALM, QUALITY, NICE person. If you get to know him at all, you will discover that this is not just a business, but a true passion for him; and he is not just invested in the children under his tutelage, but his heart is in elevating our community in many ways, education being only one facet of that. Overall, Mathnasium has been an integral part of the mathematical success in our household. THANK YOU, DAVE!!!
We started using this when we did virtual school during Covid. By the time the kids went back to brick and mortar school, their collective math skills were significantly better than their peers. Highly recommended.

We have seen a great improvement with our children’s (ages 9 & 13) understanding of overall math concepts. The program helped bridge any deficiencies and is working to help further their understanding. Our oldest, now dual-enrolled in Geometry and Algebra, is excelling and enjoys his classes. The tutors help take the frustration out of the homework difficulties and work to improve skill sets. We are very pleased!
My daughter was really struggling. Still is and actually needs to get back to Mathnasium!! The owner is helpful. The teachers /tutors are patient.

We had a great experience! When Tyler started working with you, he had very little confidence in math, by the end he was a straight "A" student and that confidence spread to all his other subjects as well. In the end he was able to get into his dream college and Mathnasium was a big part of that success!
