My daughter is struggling in math due to the effects of staying at home last year and learning virtually. I allowed her to choose between Mathnasium and another math tutoring company. She chose Mathnasium and that was our deciding factor. She felt more comfortable with the teachers and the atmosphere was more inviting. The most important thing for her right now is to enjoy learning about math. When we tell her she is going to Mathnasium, she doesn't hesitate, she is happy to go!

We have a grade 12 student with some very specific learning needs who asked us for in person tutoring. Charley has been very responsive and was flexible in allowing us to try in person learning after reviewing with us the thorough screening and precautions she has in place for COIVD-19. We feel Charley really went above and beyond in her follow up with any questions we had in a timely matter, was approachable and very personable. She took our concerns about COVID seriously and the program she offers and how it would support a grade 12 student.
After the first few sessions our teen was really pleased with the format and appreciated having the in person expertise and support without feeling there was someone "hovering" over them and the added pressure.
It has been a very positive experience and our teen attends twice a week for a total of three hours per week. It has been a valuable tool in their learning to get back on track after a year of on line learning and the new hybrid model of one week on and one week off of courses in their final year of high school. Thank you to Charley and her staff for making it a successful start back to in person learning. Darla is an added bonus!!

Charley and her team of brilliant stars have helped me so much during the pass month. They sit with you and help you one on one to understand your homework intently. It’s a very friendly and respectful environment to learn, makes me feel like I’m at home, but in a more focused way.

So far we really like the Mathnasium program. Given the current situation (pandemic) I feel that these extra classes really help reinforce, build , explain concepts , which the virtual school classes may miss.
The instructors are very enthusiastic and friendly, my daughter enjoys the classes .

Mathnasium provides our son with so much support and has improved his motivation and confidence.
He had really missed that face to face learning (with COVID restrictions) and Mathnasium has provided that in a safe welcoming environment, while maintaining COVID guidelines.

Caring tutors/teachers. They give the kids the attention they need to grow. They make it fun. It's small group sizes. Charley cares about the kids and that has made a difference at this centre.

It has been a game changer for my son. He used to hate Math. Even though he was still getting good marks at school, he showed that he did not have confident in Math. When we showed him the Mathnasium web-site, he was surprisingly positive and he wanted to try it. He has been attending Mathnasium Markham for 2+ months by now, he still loves doing Math there. He no longer complains about Math at school. His attitude towards Math has completely transformed!
