We've been with Mathnasium for 5 years and it's helped my daughters tremendously not only in ensuring they're math proficient but also giving them the confidence to handle this subject in school. What's great about Mathnasium is that it allows students to work at their own pace. It also ensures through its assessments, that students are comprehending all math principles. Typically, in school, teachers spend a certain amount of time on a topic, then test and move on. If there is a topic that a student didn't do well in, it's not as if teachers spend extra time ensuring every student gets it; Mathnasium does which helps as you move on to harder topics. It ensures you're building on a strong foundation of previously important principles that help as math gets harder. We anticipate that they will continue with Mathnasium until they are ready to graduate high school.

We have been part of Mathnasium Centreville Family since my eldest son started 1st Grade Spanish immersion; he is now in 5th Grade. We are glad that my son continued improving his math proficiency even during the COVID pandemic via virtual sessions. My youngest son who is in 2nd Grade has recently joined and looks forward to his math sessions. Mathnasium team does a great job making math fun and giving my sons the incentive to reach their goals. I would highly recommend Mathnasium to any child who is struggling with Math at school or is not getting challenged enough. My own experience with my son has been exemplary. He had a natural love for math and was not being challenged enough at school. Not only did he learn to problem solve and think critically at Mathnasium, he got timely guidance on how to manage stress related to test taking. I am especially grateful to Mr. Kenny for keeping my son motivated and on task.

Its great that Mathnasium has continued with online learning. We were concerned with the Covid 19 and everything shutting down that our daughter's progress would be affected. Good to say she is still progressing and loves math. Thanks to Kenny for all his efforts.

We enrolled my daughter into Mathnasium while in 8th grade. She was in Algebra 1 and needed some help in grasping some concepts and was not getting what she needed at the school level after school. After many nights of trying to help her and both of us struggling, my husband and I decided to enroll her into Mathnasium.
We have only seen positive outcomes the remainder of the school year. We enrolled her in November and are continuing to keep her enrolled for the extra emphasis and help she will need at the high school level. Her attitude towards homework improved, her grade came up from having a C and ending the year with an A. If she did not understand the concept in school she was able to get extra help at Mathnasium.
We have been very pleased, overall.

My daughter (2nd grade) enjoys coming to Mathnasium very much, she loves the environment, and the different little incentives (ex: popcorn day, t-shirt day, etc.) also helps to keep her motivation high
My kids love to come every time which is a big difference than other places.
The center is well run, good staff and instructors work with my kid. My son's math grades have been solid since we started the program, he finds the math at school easier since he is ahead here. We like being able to bring him especially when school is off for breaks and in the summer to keep the consistency going.
Teachers engage the kids in making math fun. They are awesome.
We love Mathnasium for helping our daughters develop the necessary foundational skills necessary to understand math. While they’re clearly several levels ahead of grade level, more importantly, is the confidence they have in getting their schoolwork done and scoring well on tests. The extra time and effort every week with Mathnasium has ensured this is one subject they don’t have to worry about at school.
