Mathnasium program is helping my daughter understand math in much simple form, where she is understanding & not memorizing math. The tutors also assist students with their school homework, which eases the burden on the child & parent!

We are so thankful for Mathnasium. During the pandemic, I feared my daughter was falling behind. The lack of actual teaching and instruction with distance learning was concerning. We chose Mathnasium‘s in-person option because of how safe it was and the significant benefit my daughter gained with the in-person teaching. They have an online program which is also excellent. Now, my daughter feels more confident and is more motivated as a result of that in-person teaching. I highly recommend Mathnasium.
My 15 year old son who always disliked math ( because it didn’t make sense for him) doesn’t complain about going to Mathnasium and even told me that it has been helpful! He started in the beginning of summer and has an “A”in algebra right now! That would not have occurred without this program and the wonderful tutors. They make sure to keep me updated on his progress routinely and track it monthly sending progress reports out. My son has liked all of the people who have worked with him. The price is reasonable for what you get but does add up. However, my son understanding algebra and feeling confidant in math is priceless...
My daughter looks forward to Mathnasium sessions because she gets a lot of positive encouragement from her instructors. Because of the remote learning set up in regular classes, one-on-one time with teachers has drastically declined. Having supplemental help with Math is definitely a benefit, but overall I think the interaction she gets with her instructors at Mathnasium gives her the confidence and encouragement that she otherwise doesn't get right now in school with remote learning.

My son sometimes struggled with math, due to covid and school closures I didn’t want him to lose the skills he learned and fall behind when they returned. Within 3 weeks my son has exceeded my expectations and actually loves it!! Math makes him very self confident and when I pick him up he’s just smiling ear to eat ( after removing the mask lol). The teachers he has our amazing and really work with my son to make him feel comfortable. My son has ADHD, during school he takes medication to help him focus. He doesn’t even need it while here at Mathnasium, that’s how into he has become. Thanks Mathnasium.

Mathnasium has been a great help for my daughter who was struggling with math. She improved her grade in a couple of months, went from a D to a B. But the most important thing is that her confidence and interest in math was restored. She’s thrilled to learned new stuff and that makes me really happy!
Signing our daughter up for Online Mathnasium (Mathnasium@home program)during the covid pandemic was one of the best things we could have done for her. She was just barely getting by in math. She seemed to lack a strong foundation and I was concerned about her strategies for completing basic problems. After hearing great things from friends, we decided to use this downtime to catch her up on her math skills, and we decided to sign up for Mathnasium. After only a few months, her skills have dramatically improved and her confidence is so high, which as a mother, makes me so happy. The best part is she enjoys doing it! The instructors are great and spend so much one on one time with her. Our whole experience has been super easy. Had it not been for Mathnasium during the Stay at Home orders., my daughter would likely have fallen more behind in math and had a very challenging time going into 4th grade. Highly recommend Mathnasium of Granada Hills to any parent who wants to help their children to improve their math skills!
Distance learning has not been easy. But with the challenges of getting set up and continuing the learning, we felt the support and attention of the administration and instructors. It was not an ideal situation, butwe appreciated the accommodations and the continued effort to make it work.
My child enjoys learning and looks forward to working with her math coach. The math coach explains math in ways that helps my child understand.
