Our daughter has gained confidence thanks to the wonderful math tutors! She enjoys the tangible incentives to keep her motivated but really likes seeing her progress in her classroom.

Our kids have been going to Mathnasium for more than 8 years. 5 out of 8 years have been with the Normal, IL center. Amy and staff have been very dedicated and flexible to our schedule. I can't thank enough them for the care they provide to the kids.

I once provided a feedback to write in a sentence or 2 on what the kids learnt for the day and how they are doing. Till date, the staff has been taking time and providing me (parent) their personal feedback on daily basis, which is very much appreciated and shows how much they listen to parents and dedicate for the kids education. The Bloomington Normal Mathnasium team is amazing. They are very patient with our son, and he is more confident in math. I would recommend this center to anyone who needs help getting their kids to be stronger in math.

Excellent opportunity to solidify and relearn items that may not have been grasped completely. I really like the evaluation process that can identify gaps. The sessions are easy to grasp and all in the comfort of our home.

We have been very happy with our daughter’s improvement and most important her DESIRE for math!

My daughter’s math skills have improved a lot. She now gets the concept of each method applied. It has been a tremendous improvement.

We were very happy with our experience at Mathnasium. Our Freshman improved his skills and confidence with math concepts he had missed in Junior High classes at a local public school.

Our experience with Mathnasium of Bloomington Normal has been excellent. I particularly value the initial assessment identifying gaps in the student’s knowledge that may have been present for many years. They then formulate a learning plan to address the oldest gaps first. The lessons have been conducted on line, and are easy to grasp with direct tutoring and student practice with in the same session. You can only proceed to the next lesson once you fully understand the previous one. The lessons are easy to grasp, and presented in a layered format, outlined step by step and then filtering out the middle steps.
The best part is there is no homework, just learning and practice during the session, there is no judgment and the tutors are very patient.
I am very happy we found this much needed resource.

Andy was able to strengthen his math skills so he was a strong math student. By 6th grade he was in in Advanced math. It was an investment in his future.

My teenage son doesn’t enjoy “tutoring” but has told us the help he’s receiving at Mathnasium is giving him a better understanding of Algebra. The times/days are flexible which accommodates our busy schedule. We are thankful!

My 3rd and 7th grade children love coming to Mathnasium (love might be a bit strong to describe my 7th graders feelings about math practice, but she goes willingly, and my 3rd grader begs to go more often!). They have both developed more confidence in their math ability and I know it is impacting their performance at school. I also love that my 1st grade son is already asking when he can start going too! :)

Good teachers and well planned work.

The quality and experience of tutoring exceeded expectations. I wish during summer there were morning hours available. All of my children loved going. I’ve raved about our experience to many people and intend on coming back over the summer if not sooner. Finding the time during the school year looks like it might be difficult. If there was an option to purchase a set number of sessions during the school year that wouldn’t expire, rather than paying by the month for sessions I know we couldn’t consistently make would be ideal for my family.

I enjoy working with the kids, I've worked with adults most of my life. I also like working with the wide variety of mathematical topics (simple addition to advanced trig. topics).
