Although we had a rocky start, due to an instructor using foul language as he came on the call (he may have been signing a rap song and sang the words as he joined my daughter's session), and that same instructor was rude to my daughter for going ahead, after speaking with Xavier about this incident, we have not experienced any further problems. Both my daughter's are getting much out of online tutoring!
My daughter really enjoyed learning from the staff of Mathnasium in Monterey Park. They are very helpful and very patient. My twins started in February 2020. Xavier is really good at addressing the children's needs. I highly recommend Mathnasium! Everyone is friendly. I love to get updates at the end of the class, on how my children are doing and what they learned/practiced. We can't wait to go back!
Very supportive and knowledgeable
My children started on Feb 2020 and due to Coronavirus situation had to stop but I really think Mathnasium is a good learning resource! The staff is great! Very friendly, and communicate with the parents at the end of the session. Xavier is amazing, he is very understanding and helpful!! I highly recommend it! They really love what they do (help children/ anyone understand math!).
The staffs are friendly and they are flexible to work with students and parents.

Mathnasium has employees who are quite skilled in teaching math in a number of different ways, has helped my daughter grasp many concepts that she used to struggle with.
My son loves going to Mathnasium. The patient teachers and atmosphere have totally transformed his attitude towards math. He is making gains in the areas assessed and his math teacher even noticed improved confidence and skill. We will continue with the program as we want to make sure our son continues to improve. Mathnasium has made the difference in our daughter's life giving her the gift of loving math. She looks forward to going every day after school. This just became a part of her daily routine. The super heros aka March instructors have an amazing way of turning learning into fun. Dalina shares her daily progress and has improved her knowledge and understanding which ultimately raised her grade by two levels. She's proud to share she's a Mathnasium student.
My older sons used to go to Mathnasium
years ago . They always did well on testing and my boys always felt welcomed and at ease when receiving help from tutors at the Mathnasium Center. Management has always been approachable and easy to talk to regarding the progress of my boys . Fast forward to today where we now have to adjust to a new way of living due to the Pandemic . My younger sons are now doing Mathnasium online . I really didn’t know what to think about tutoring online but as I’ve observed the last few weeks I can say Mathnasium is doing what they do best and that is teach math and in various ways , encourage and help kids succeed. My 3 boys actually enjoy their sessions . Thank you to Mathnasium and to the great tutors !
