To start, tutors master math, which in most places they just know the basic stuff. They are patient and clear in their explanations. The kids feel comfortable and work on their own pace. However, they are still pushed by the teachers to have the work done.
My son was in 6th grade and he has already achieved High School entrance level since he started in December 2017.
The reward cards the kids get each time they finish their work is fun and they love it!
The method Mathnasium uses, works. Not only the children advance in math, but they keep reviewing to keep the foundation strong.

I’d recommend Mathnasium to anyone with children even if they’re not having issues with math. So, if your child is a wiz at math, send him or her there and they’ll get on a level that surpasses all of their peers to get into college and be at top of his or her class, no matter what grade.
The facility is more than I could imagine, very welcoming, organized and the environment is very pleasant and not intimidating to kids.
The staff is top notch and work very hard and ALWAYS friendly and patient. They’re prepared for every level of math. Your child NEVER goes without want for help. The instructors are constantly working and a child can get help from someone within seconds. Not only are they constantly circling the room and working, they will STAY WITH YOUR CHILD ONE ON ONE FOR 1/2 hr, 1hr, 2hrs...whatever it takes to help your child achieve their current math problem.
They go ABOVE & BEYOND. You won’t be disappointed and it’s worth every penny.

Our son loves going to Mathnasium. He is attending sixth grade and after a semester at Mathnasium he is getting into eighth grade math level. The system works very well, adapted to each child, it goes with the needed pace. It goes covering concepts and exercise till they master the subject, then it moves on. Very personalized, it works very well.
Mathnasium provides a most welcoming, friendly atmosphere and has been enormously helpful for my son's math education.
It has been a great experience. I would suggest monthly progress reports so parents know exactly what their children are learning.
This group provides friendly, helpful and very effective tutors and managers. It is gratifying to see how my son is able to settle in and work so easily when he arrives. Then, once he leaves, he is in a calm, great mood. Later, when his school performance improves, his overall confidence and enjoyment of mathematics increases!

My daughter loves Mathnasium. She started attending two years ago when I didn’t have the patience to teach her. She was doing below average at school and now scores perfect on her tests and scores top 98thon her STAR reports. Not only is she enhancing her math but is also having fun. The staff are wonderful, very knowledgeable patien and upbeat. Pretty soon I’ll start her younger siblings.

We started coming to Mathnasium in September because one child needed additional help and the other was looking for a challenge. We found success on both accounts - the one struggling has shown quite a bit of improvement and is becoming more confident and is doing well. The other is having fun with all the different challenges and is moving ahead of the game. This is money very well spent!!
My son's grades in Algebra have shown great improvement since we began attending Mathnasium. Identifying whatever comprehension gaps he may have had seems to be an effective strategy for success.
Lauren was barely an average Math student. I didn't have time or patience to work with her myself. We originally contacted a private tutor but she was over booked. We are so happy we went with mathnasium because her test scores have gone up and she now scores in the top percentage. She loves the staff and not only works hard but has fun while she is there.
The location right on route couldn't be more perfect its mid way between all my 4 kids activities so its a quick drop off.

It is just really awesome to see kids going in and coming out the place with a big smile... for Math!!!! That says a lot of your facility. Kids are kids, and you guys get it. They can take breaks and the tutors will play educational games with them. I particularly like the idea that they own their learning and are accountable with their progress. The owner, David, is there and is open to tailor the curriculum to match the school's. The tutors there are good with kids and are able to work with them in a constructive way.
My 7 year olds love Mathnasium. The staff create a fun rewarding environment that they can’t get enough of. They constantly demand to be dropped off so they can “do math”. Often get angry if I come to pick them up too early. It’s perfect to avoid the summer slump and get on track for September.
