Ms. Desiree is exceptional at what she does. She is professional and warm, wonderful with our children, communicative with me, patient, expert, creative, and clear in her explanation of math. For our family, she is Mathnasium. We also love Ms. Mariana and Mr. Trey, but it is Ms. Desiree who is irreplaceable. I hope she is being compensated well and will never leave because she is making such a difference in our children’s math education and confidence, with one child who struggles with math and another child who is gifted in math; we hope she will be there to teach our children math through their high school graduations, and our children are only in third and fifth grade! The mathnasium curriculum and approach is good, but it is the implementation that is the most important part of what happens at Mathnasium, the teaching, the people. And we love Ms Desiree!

It has been a great experience for us. My son is in 6th grade and started Mathnasium a few months ago and now he is ready to take placement test for Algebra I next year. Desiree, the Director, has been so helpful and supportive and it was she that recommended my son to place out of 7th and 8th grade math.
My daughter improved her grades in just two weeks.
The extra help and one on one explanations of Algebra 2 helped my daughter understand the material.
Our daughter has been going to Mathnasium for approximately 5 years now. It has been a huge blessing to her and to us. I love how my daughter enjoys attending Mathnasium. Math is her toughest subject, and it was always a battle to get her to complete her assignments. Mathnasium has helped her improve her math skills and she actually enjoys it!
We have just begun with your program, but thus far my daughter enjoys coming there. We havent been able to see any rewards because she is new to the program, but if she's happy there i assume she is open to learning and will show great improvement. looking forward to her realizing her potential.

This is our second year at Mathnasium and we still love it! My kids have worked on Geometry this year in 9th grade and have done VERY WELL! The staff is very responsive and always prepared to help with their particular subject. We have been able to request and emergency session due to an unexpected exam and the online scheduling tool is easy to use. We would definitely recommend Mathnasium, and especially Desiree at the Lakewood Office:)
