Both my kids have been going to Mathnasium since Kindergarten which is 4 and 6 years so far. Both have benefitted from this and both are in ALP math at Traut Core Knowledge School. My 5th grade daughter scored in the top 1% in the State's CSAP the last two years.
My daughter does soo well in school now in math. She gained confidence because she knows what she is doing. She goes to mathnezium 4-5 times a week and I am very happy, she is different person now, much happier, loves math, chemistry, no more crying and not wanting to go to class because test is coming up. All tutors in mathnezium are amazing, they have good hearts, and explain very well if my daughter doesn’t understand. I am a happy parent. Mathnasium, here in S. Fort Collins, has been a tremendous help to me as a homeschooling parent, and specifically to our kids at various ages & math levels. This past year, their high CO State math testing scores reflected how much they've mastered thru the knowledgeable help of mathnasium's excellent tutors and the great curriculum mathnasium uses to personalize each child's math learning! In fact, a few times on the way home from her visits, she expressed to me that she had been grumpy and resistant to go to her appointment, but by the time she was done, she was happier than when we left! Our daughter loves Mathnasium. She was sad she wouldn’t get to her sessions while we were on vacation. She has learned a lot and talks about how well the teachers explain things to her. I’ve been very pleased with the complete 180 she has had in her attitude toward math. Before, she thought she was “bad at math”, although she is a year ahead in math. Now she is excited and feels good about herself while doing math.
My daughter is doing amazing with Mathnasium. The instructors are great and are so helpful. Sometimes phone and email messages go unreturned. The parent must be persistant to get the answers they need/want. I really appreciate the flexibility you’ve given for summer!
