Erich at Mathnasium is amazing!
My son kian has been attending Mathnesium for over a year. It is one of the best programs for kids. The instructor (Erich) is amazing. He is super kind with the kids. He is always smiling and is wonderful with each kid who enters the center. He along with the other instructors make math fun for all the kids...my son has learned so much from attending the program. He is ahead in all of his math courses and has gained so much confidence. I highly recommend Mathnesium to anyone who is looking for a incredible program.
Before Mathnasium, my daughter was struggling with math in Elementary school. And we were struggling with how to help and teach her. After she finished her first semester in 6th grade, and still going to Mathnasium, she was bumped up to the honors program.
A rough year in math, combined with the pandemic, took a huge toll on my 7th grader. He has been in Mathnasium twice a week for months now and his tolerance for math is back and his grade has improved. I am really happy with Mathasium in Marina del Rey, and my son actually enjoys going there. I highly recommend this program.

John and the math coaches are wonderful. They are attentive enthusiastic, and take the time to really under the needs of each learner.

I’m very grateful to have had Mathnasium as a resource for my middle-school-aged daughter, especially during the pandemic, where online lessons with live teachers felt safe and remote learning was becoming the norm. The flexibility and ease of scheduling really worked for us, the Marina Del Rey Center was 100% responsive to any questions or concerns I had along the way, and my daughter’s confidence in math and performance significantly improved. I would recommend this service without reservation and consider it a resource if needed at various points in the future.

Mathnasium has always reached back out quickly in response to questions. It would be nice to schedule time with instructors that my daughter enjoys working with. However, when we tried to match up her schedule a few times with what we thought was the instructor’s schedule, we were not able to get him scheduled. Otherwise, we appreciate the follow up calls if for some reason we are having tech glitches or user delays.
So far my son has done very well at Mathnasium. The one on one guidance is really helpful, he gets help with math homework, and is learning a lot. His grade is improving.
John has been so helpful to our family and helped us understand our son's needs and strengths. Harrison and the other teachers have been kind, fun and helpful in my son's growth.

I called John yesterday to ask him about my child’s progress and he spent a great deal of time explaining the assessment procedure to me, explaining my child’s progress, and giving me a sense of realistic expectations for the future. He was kind, patient, knowledgeable and encouraging and I appreciated it very much.
Sid is a fantastic teacher. He’s so patient and kind, and makes the math concepts easy for my daughter to understand. She has made amazing progress. We couldn’t be happier!

Our son loves attending mathnesium. The director (josh) has a wonderful attitude. He is friendly, attentive, funny, caring and an overall great director. We love the teachers at mathnesium. They are very intelligent and help our son with all of his homework questions. Ever since our son has gone to mathnesium-his grades have improved greatly. They make math fun for the kids. We love mathnesium and would highly recommend it!!

My son has a better understanding of calculating by grouping prior to just trying to solve . He has learned to slow down while reading his word problems and understand what is being asked instead of just reading. he is now in third grade and is now doing 3rd garage test and by the end of 3rd grade he should be testing in 4th grade level . In the summer of 2019 he was testing 2nd grade
We are new to the marina location and so far the location is easy to get to with easy parking. The tutors are nice and my child likes going.
You made my daughter’s math experience so good she wants to go to Mathnasium to learn math.
