The instructors seem to be very good at making it interesting with the students and keeping them engaged and not frustrated.
Overall I think it's very helpful to having our child feel more comfortable with math.
The only constructive feedback I would have is to make the prizes more relevant and attainable for the younger kids as sometimes they could get frustrated not with the math, but with working so hard as the older kids to try to achieve the prizes they want to achieve. I noticed only recently that my daughter was trying to avoid going to Mathnasium and I asked why, and it had to do with not having enough interesting prizes as before to work towards and the rules being changed so that she said she had to work longer and have more points or cards to get the prizes. Not sure if that's true, but that's what I've been hearing from her.
My granddaughter went from hating math to really liking it . She loved going to Mathnasium . Their way of teaching math concepts really stuck with her. She would still be going there if I could afford it. I am putting away money as we speak so she can go back. She is a freshman in High School and is in Algebra and will be in Geometry next year. I know she would not be doing as well as she is this year if it wasn't for the help she got at Mathnasium.

I have one kiddo attending who was already strong in math. It has really built confidence and self esteem for him. He now sees himself as great at math. I have another kiddo attending who slipped through the cracks at school. While she is not going to say she loves going, we know that the time she spends there is building confidence and filling gaps. We don't see her struggling the way she used to!
We and our 8 year old loves going to the institute. We are definitely seeing pleasing results and our child has renewed perspective and motivation to learning mathematics. Thank you.
We are so grateful for the detailed instruction at Mathnasium, and for the opportunity to fill in the gaps where our public school cannot. The staff are amazing, supportive and attentive. I could have never imagined my children would be so excited and look forward to learning math!

I enrolled my granddaughter in Mathnasium when she was in the 2nd grade. She is in the 9th grade now. She did not like math and was behind in school. After a very short time not only did she understand the concepts but she wanted to go to Mathnasium everyday and stay longer than she was allowed!!!,
I have had to send her sparatically because of my finances, but every time she is struggling with new concepts I send her for as long as i can afford it and she always does better and her confidence and self esteem improve.
I would recommend Mathnasium to everyone. It is amazing how quickly Math goes from drudgery to excitement.
I wish I could afford to send her every school yer, but i am a single grandmother on SS and working parttime and there just isn't enough to go around. The only way I have been able for her to have the opportuinity to attend is through scholarships and help from family.
I am in the process of trying to find financial help as I write this so she can continue to get help this year. If you have any suggestions please contact me.

Mathnasium offered a nurturing environment where my son felt comfortable, supported and capable. Both the director and the tutors were patient and helped instill confidence in his math abilities. Mathnasium is a wonderful resource available to kids struggling in math.
My son has made tremendous progress since coming to Mathnasium!
My son came in looking to review Algebra 1 for a retest at the beginning of this school year that would determine if he went on into geometry. Because of Mathnasiium he did so well he was able to move into Geometry. He enjoyed instructors Rob and Ben and would like to come back in the future when he needs the help again. Thanks Mathnasium
My Daughter is gaining confidence and skills on how to work through problems. I am looking forward to seeing how this will help her during the upcoming school year.
I have already told a few people about it :). We parents who have struggling learners always share, when we find something that is working. It is frustrating when the school can't figure out how to meet our children's math needs. I am feeling grateful that my kiddos have worked Mathnasium into their routine with little resistance.

My 2nd grader now enjoys math because of the knowledgeable and supportive staff who take the time to explain math concepts until she understands; my 6th grader has more math confidence because of Mathnasium's focus on filling in the gaps of his knowledge.
My goal that I shared with my son in attending Mathnasium is that not only would he establish the building blocks of a stronger foundation in Math, but that he would Love doing Math and also build confidence, believing in himself that he Can do it. I am happy to report that within two weeks this was already happening! He also loves going to Mathnasium and looks forward to it!
Mathnasium has been a great resource for our family. The owner really cares about kids and the instructors are fantastic!

It has helped both of our girls with their math through the years, it helps us with the time to sit down and do the extra math they need to make math easy for them in class.
I love the fact that I can bring my kids to Mathnasium when it is convenient to me and not at a set time or day. I like the fact that I can bring up to four times a week!
I like that you reach out to my children's math teacher to make sure you are targeting the right concepts. The pre and post-tests help me to know how they have improved.
And, happily, your staff is great and my children don't mind going.
My child is very well treated and gets a lot of attention and help at Mathnasium. She finds real help and the explanations which she sadlly cannot find in her BVSD elementary class. She starts to like Math better thanks to the different approach Mathnasium is teaching students.
The teachers are great! They are very patient and make learning fun. My daughter has really improved in the short time she has been there.

So far so good! Only a few weeks into our 6 months and my daughter asks to go everyday after school. She is feeling more confident and learning more skills each visit. Plus it seems like the information is being retained which was a serious problem before.
